We don't lose often in Adelaide, even in 2017 we beat the crowds by 42 points, our record there since 2016 is more wins then loses

Thanks for reminding me. We have done well there but not so much prior to 2017.

This team is playing better than that one so while Im confident I still thinks it a tough game.

One its Adelaide not Tasmania ...big crowd.

Two..we are being hunted now especially by lower clubs that desperately need a scalp.

I hate crows crowds.

I think Viney loves to play in Adelaide - agreed - return of a native son and all? Has he played well there recently?

Unless the boys decide to completely phone it in and go away from everything that's got us to this point so far, we're not losing against the Crows

Put time into Tex, Laird and Keays

I can't see them kicking a high score.

Since Goody mentioned how we want to wrestle the game out until we have control, it's given me even more belief

Should win by 3+ goals at least.

Don't care how we do it, just want to get the W

I envisage a 10 min bonanza like we had against North and Hawthorn but hopefully earlier in the game. This mob have lost their last 5. Wouldn't mind the boys getting a bit of bloodlust up and really belting them.

Adelaide have won 10 qtrs of football this year and lost 25 (1 draw)

They haven't won a 3rd qtr all year

Last 5 games they have lost averaging 64.8 pts. Avg losing margin 5 goals

Opposition in the last 5 games have averaged 97 pts

We've got this

You ever sat at a Port home game? Crows supporters, in contrast, are the model of civility. Most of them voted for Don Dunstan back in the day. And apart from Don's Safari suits, (thankfully a long-forgotten fashion statement), they still retain some degree of reasonable behaviour.

Adelaide will be a difficult beast to tame. Home ground, a new-found modus operandi. They went West last week and didn't lose by much. The lads need to be on top of their game for this.

Give them some credit, I’m sick of most our supporters not believing and saying every game a danger game

Get on board & give them some credit for playing some fantastic football

No I must say Ive never had the pleasure.

Ive heard that most of them are out on day release.

So I guess I should be more generous to the crows mob. Nah I cant. Perpetual booers. Drives me bonkers when they boo every shot on goal. I know its not cricket but sheesh.

I remember those safari suits. My dad wore one for several years(i think it was the same one)

In my role as family clown I wouud quip as he walked out the front door..

"Dad be careful its a jungle out there"

He never appreciated it.

Can you imagine this being posted on “what they’re saying at Goschs Paddock/Casey Fields/insert other place “ on other forums -  most other fans wouldn’t be able to understand such ripping repartee like this and the Dunstan bit above. Too much humour, intelligence and correct grammar. It’d be lost on most.

Danger game?

I don't see it. We have them covered in all areas of the ground and so far this season all I have seen from our team is one that is able to respond and work out a way to win.

Simple structures, setting up well behind the ball and players taking on the proper responsibilities.

Nah, not a danger game.

I'm on board. Just noting Adelaide might be more difficult than we expect.

Nice angle, D17, but I have to step in: not enough Ls and Ms for Christian but there is sufficient for a Gawn to drop back into the hole...

...Which leaves E-NOISE, by the way. The fugazi on here that this is a danger game?....

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
