Easy 1 goal 12 behind win really....

Nearly 100 possessions between Oliver, Petracca and Salem.

Hardly a surprise we dominated (minus in front of goal)

We've got to take our chances going forward. We weren't perfect, but the scoreline flattered the Saints. But wth half a forward line, and now 2-0 it's a great outcome. Can't ask for more than that, we can only get better from here!

Man I love beating the Saints!

Oh and go Kossie! ELECTRIC!

We played bloody well... except we couldn’t nail goals. If we did, it would have been a thrashing.

Nice to see our midfield back dominating. Backline is still a thing of beauty. Tomlinson was just wonderful.

If we can keep scraping out wins until we get Brown on the field... look out!

Or hold marks.

Guess who's back, back again The Dees are back tell a friend.

T-shirt Tommy and Tommo take a bow.

Good to get the win. 19 behinds is deplorable though, and letting Howard just amble back and take intercept marks is poor form. We need a forward line. Good to see Petracca lower his eyes inside 50 at times, hopefully some of the others saw that and realise that it can be done. Its basic football and we are beyond pathetic at delivering inside 50. Good signs from a lot of players (mostly those not in the forward line). Majority team effort.

[censored] Yea!!!!! Always good to knock off a side that rate themselves way too much.

Ugly footy at times and bad in front of goal, but went three goals down and came back as well as holding off a couple of Saints charges.  Have grown as a group, in past years were out of the contest by 3/4 time.

Lever had a Stinker ?  How many dropped marks?

At least 2 goals given away to drops

Well I thought we would be out paced and out coached.

I am glad to admit I was wrong.

Well done MFC.

I’m within a bees [censored] of being banned form the Medallion Club.

Go you good things.

We obliterated them in every single way except for the score, we flattered them massively with our poor kicking for goal. It will cost us games if it doesn’t get fixed, once against Freo for first game back you can forgive, second time in a row starts to build a pattern.

Scrappy win, not complaining, convert a third of our missed shots and its a 40-50 point win.

End of mini rant go and get plastered.

Go you mighty F'n Dees???

Played tough when we needed, and the skills in the first half were excellent but for goal kicking. Only fell off when the pressure dropped...

Good win with plenty to work on. I’ll take it.

Only watched 2nd half and we put together some really positive chains of ball movement. Skills let us down a fair bit though (dropped about 5 sitter marks, kicking was poor as well), topped with some bad finishing and it took a bit of shine off a really good win. Should have been 40+. Kozzy looking really special in the middle.

Go Dees.

Awesome win. Saints are a good team and Pickett one day will take a screamer. It's a good start & just builds confidence.

Bring on the giants next week.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
