That's Casey's game this Saturday morning at Casey Fields - exact time to be advised.

I believe this game is currently underway as we speak?

Anyone make it round?

Casey Demons Facebook page has plenty on the VFLW games (even a quarter time score for today’s game), but nothing on today’s men’s game.

No word on goal kickers? (hoping for another Majak bag)

Thanks mate... I’m just a bit surprised that as supporters can’t attend these games (I’m assuming... is that correct), then surely they must realize that supporters would probably be interested in such trivial things. ?

It surprises me that they won't have it as a forerunner to the girls game. Those keen enough can watch both. Probably the cost of staff.

Who played well for Casey up forward? Can we get these guys into the Seniors?

From facebook (his name is Trevor):

After getting out ti about a 28 point lead, NM came back and Casey in front by 11 at 3/4 time. 9.8.62 to 8.3.51. No Petty after half time. Melks, Daw and Rosman amongst the goal kickers that qtr. Hibbert solid in defence. Melksham continued to get plenty if the ball as well as Vanders. Pretty slippery so lots of skill errors.

Final score 12.9.81 to 11.7.73. Goals to Rosman , Daw and Bedford that qtr. I think Risman kicked 3 fir the game and impressed

Thanks Deelicious

Reading from that either Petty in as medical sub tonight after a half game or Baker in as the sub. Obviously Melk and Hibbo played full games

Just a guess but I would say that Oskar will be the sub and Petty would be there as an emergency in case of an injury before the game.

Rosman 3 goals in an impressive display?  Delightful

North Melbourne have a review up on their website. Nothing about our players though.

How mean-spirited! We gave them Dom Tyson! Ingrates!

A mate got out there and I got the following at various times through the morning.

It is raining cats & dogs out here
Cannot sight Baker - he must be 23rd Man for tonight

Qtr time: Casey 4.4:28 v North 3.1:19

Half time. Casey lead by 10 points. 42 to 32.

3QT: we hold a 11pt lead going into the last Qtr (62v 51)

Seeing plenty from Hibbo, Rosman, Chandler, Bedford, Bradtke, Melks, Vanders & Daw

Majak has taken some very strong marks and kicked about 3 goals

FT score: 12.9:81 v 11.7:73- well done Casey

The feature of the game was some strong marking in terrible conditions early. Majak & Bradtke in particular!

My 3,2,1 would go to Hibberd, Vanders & Daw with a special mention to Bedford

Were the folks who did the writeups and stats for Casey part of the huge personnel cuts due to Covid or something? Not getting much apart from photos these days

Disappointing no mention of either Bowey or Laurie

Bedford and Pickett together will scare a lot of defenders

Basically [censored] poor efforts from the club this year in regard to us, their paying members. Hiding away at Casey all preseason, with ****all coverage of training by the club, all the while denying access to fans who did make the trip out there. Apparently 42,000 plus of us have paid up for membership this season but do we exist in the calculations of the club management? I am not sure. Denied access to training but [censored] all club coverage, a few photo collages occasionally and then there are the unpublicised VFL practice matches with no coverage and no club reports. Remind me why I am paying a premium club membership this year for our current Administration?

Because you want your guaranteed GF ticket and probably like me couldn't bare the thought of not being there when Max raises the cup.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Collingwood

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

  • AFLW REPORT: St. Kilda

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking.  We filled our boots with percentage — now a whopping 520.7% — and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourne’s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasn’t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's  six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his team’s unfulfilled potential rang true … well, almost.
