Trent has the right attributes to take his game to the next level. Every now and then in comes a draftee with potential.

This kid is the real deal.  With a strong preseason under his belt l can see him being a regular breaking the lines in the backline.

Is one that will take the game on.

Was rapt when he slid as far as he did in the draft. Got ourselves an absolute bargain.

He was excellent in his first season and looks as though he will have a long and successful career from here.

Wouldn’t surprise me if ends up as one of our best midfielders in years to come.

Can't say enough about Riv just does all the footballers things naturally and without fanfare.

Will star wherever he plays back it even in the midfield or maybe up forward to win the game.

Dont be surprised If Trent becomes a leader of the Club with Captaincy right in the mix. 200 plus game legend To look forward to enjoying his magnificent career.

with only 9 games played in 2020, he should be eligible for the rising star next season?

should join the likes of - gulp! - jordan gysberts as a player who gets two rising star nominations in consecutive years

oh, that's right...he didn't get one in 2020...

A very impressive young player, arguably the most impressive of our three draftees from last year.

You beat me to it. Best of the three IMHO (and the other two weren’t exactly unimpressive)!

pickett was unimpressive imo. no point being quick if you can't keep your feet.

For a moment I thought this thread might have been about Trent Rivers.

Great young talent with a lot of upside. I personally think his best footy will be in the midfield, let's see what happens.

Trent Rivers, Kossie Pickett and Luke Jackson our 3 top picks  in 2019.

Three fine picks .    FD did their homework on this one.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
