Upgrade on Baker and ANB. Would offer a point of difference to our one paced midfield. Langdon on one wing and Narkle on the other. Tomlinson permanent defender. Yes from me

Worth a go but Brian Taylor has put me off with his “sparkle Narkle” crap everytime time he’s near the ball.

I'd take a look at him, although his injury history doesn't do much for me.  If we delisted someone like Bedford, then I'd be happy to nab him for a late pick to fill that spot.  If it works out then great but, if not, we haven't lost too much.

I doubt a farnarkling player would be good at AFL.

I can't understand the rules of farnarkling, but then again, recently I have found the umpires and AFL don't seem to understand the rules of AFL either.

I don’t think he would look at the Dees. Why would he??? He’s from WA so immediately he’d be looking at Eagles or Freo.

The article stated that, if he looked to move on, it is at a Melbourne based club:

Narkle, 22, is out of contract and understood to be open to a move if it eventuates, preferably to a Melbourne-based club.

Thanks WB. I’d be highly surprised if he ended up at the Dees. Might be on the Bombers radar. They seem to be into anyone looking likely of a move. Except Daniher of course.

Narkle is nit looking for a team necessarily in the Top 5 premiership window as he is still starting his career.

I can't stand the "Why would he pick Melb (Us)" disdain as if the Club  has Covid virus in the forward line and Ebola  virus down back.

As pointed out he would look for a Melb based Club and the deal is the most important thing plus the opportunity foryoung players. He can see what Langdon has done !

This  continual putting down if our Club is not only tiresome but depressing and is generally a rash generalisation without thought or facts.

Narkle is  just the sort of youngster who has pace and flair to suit our outside running needs for 2021 and beyond.

660 posts and you’re a troll already. I don’t put down the club. I don’t think Narkle would choose us.  It’s my opinion. Get on board with the spirit of the forum which allows supporters to express opinions without this type of irrational response to one opinion.  GAL.

Sorry Smithy but your complete ruling out of the possibility without reason or knowledge or fact blandly dismissing any hope for consideration or the fact that that Club May wish to recruit him shows no thought whatsoever.

Indeed your first remark about you thinking he would be Wanting to be going back to WA Was a wild stab And  as ambit as nearly all WA fans think every Player that heads east wants to return as soon as their 2 year recruit contract finishes.

Getting  with the spirit in this post is not in my opinion what D/L is about in  fact it is as you say a diversity opportunity and as such I have Expressed my opinion fairly and reasonably and positively putting fat more accuracy in this topic than your rash predictionwhich is incorrect in the first place and a wild guess in the second.

Yes you can state your opinion but if wrong and really Doesn't  she'd anY accuracy on the subject it Behoves me to point out the true facts and also place a more positive spin on our aClub in the process.

Thxnk you for deciphering me as a troll they 600 odd posts is about 100 a year ie 2 a week really hardly trolling figures of any note.!!!

Troll is to denegrate others for an opinion. That was your style. It had nothing to do with any facts and you had no facts. I’m stating imo I think other Melbourne clubs might be his intention or even still going home as happens each year every year. GAL

Absolutely worth the look. Low risk.

The Cat's cut him pretty quickly.  I would be worried as to why.  They don't suffer fools gladly down there.  Would need to do some serious homework / background checks first imv.

Think I might have mixed him up with Parfitt for some reason. Narkle does seem to break down a bit so would need to do the checks, does have some good toe though.

i don't see why he wouldn't pick us

he's an outside player looking for a new team; we're crying out for his type, and he would get plenty of opportunities with us

i can't actually seeing him being worth much - he seems to be constantly breaking down and when fit is unable to force his way into geelong's 22

third / fourth rounder? geelong hardly need the picks tho

narkle and one of their first round picks for viney, when we match whatever they're offering him and 'force' the trade?

    HIGHLIGHTS/LOWLIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Melbourne traveled across the continent to take on the Fremantle Dockers in sweltering conditions at Mandurah south of Perth in a game that delivered the club both its highlight and its lowlight in the first minute.  But first, let’s start by doing away with the usual cliches used in connection with the game. It was just a practice match and the result didn’t matter. Bad kicking is bad football. The game was played in severe heat, the swirly breeze played havoc with both teams resulting in

THE ACCIDENTAL DEMONS by The Oracle

In the space of eight days, the Melbourne Football Club’s plans for the coming year were turned upside down by two season-ending injuries to players who were contending strongly for places in its opening round match against the GWS Giants. Shane McAdam was first player to go down with injury when he ruptured an Achilles tendon at Friday afternoon training, a week before the cut-off date for the AFL’s pre-season supplemental selection period (“SSP”). McAdam was beginning to get some real mom
