Never really paid O Mac much attention despite all the gnashing of teeth that goes on around here but watching him a little more closely in the replay is his disposal usually that bad.

There were lots of turnovers in the Alice but he seemed to have a high percentage. On a positive note I can't remember many costing us a goal but they certainly killed the forward thrusts.

Another question has Lever's kicking always been so ineffective or was he better pre-injury. Might be an intercept star but his ability to launch an attack is limited. Seems mainly a mark and prop player.

We may have found another good rebounder in Rivers.

Hunt is adaptable - he can do these things and has been given great exemplars to interpret over the past month. His pace and sprinting recovery is a tremendous asset now that the team is actually slowing its intended progress of the ball and looking up for opportunities ahead - but not too far ahead. Hunt is also a great kick.

Langdon has a huge tank. Not sure about Hunts. When we played him off half back/wing a few seasons ago yes he would provide great run but I would watch that followed by him absolutely stuffed with hands on knees often after a couple of repeat sprints. Also Langdon's disposal is OK and tracking along well. Hunts is just awful.

I imagine we will only see Hunt come in for a small forward like Kozzy or Hannan. I think the balance we have at the moment is good further up the ground.

have been impressed with Tomlinson down back. His disposal is excellent - 100% efficiency against the Pies and is getting more of the ball in that psition.

I was actually thinking he could come in for an obviously out of form Hannan... he has the pace and he is a decent shot on goal; but I get the feeling that they might listen to the Demonland selection panel and instead go with a half paced Bennell, which concerns me a little.  It would be interesting to know just how Hunt has been performing in the scratch matches and what sort of a role he's been playing.

How's LA by the way? Or did you flee back to the safety of Melbourne ??

I've still got nightmares from R21 loss at the MCG in 2018 which meant we needed to beat WC in Perth to make the finals.  Deja vu all over again here ...

Agree jnr. Usually very reliable by foot, in large part because he a sound technique.

Though his kicking it was pretty poor against the saints

We were god awful that day. Couldn't kick straight from memory. Was that hogans'last game for us?

The games against swans, freo & bombers who are below us are the danger games which in past history are the ones we drop. Gws are a better side than current ladder position & will be hard to beat.

Small forwards re our achilles heel. And he is the best in the game i reckon.

I liked the idea of Smith coming in for him but that doesn't sound likely.

It does sound likely however that Lockhart will come back in and would have the mongrel to harass and niggle Papley. it would be a fun match up to watch actually. 

You probably have to accept he will kick a couple of goals but if we can keep him to two that's a win as really he is their only regular goal kicking threat.
