Never in doubt

It’s 50. Just wearing the wrong colour guernsey.

The players we want looking good, are looking good. Except for Oliver. He looks terrible these past 2 weeks.

Loved see Trac smoke Scully.

Fritta! 3rd times a charm! Might be a bit wayward at times but gets decent purchase on the footy.

CONFIDENCE- PETRACCA!

He was wearing a red+blue jumper

Good signs.

Petracca rampant.

Burgoyne done.

O'Brien Done.

Crush this scum.

This will sound a little ridiculous, but it's great to see Jackson mark that one on the lead.  Will do wonders for his confidence after missing a few against Carlton.

Great start from us as well.

So good to see a Demon with potential reach said potential.

He does seem to be tracking well...npi.

Seems to becoming somewhat elite as hoped.

Hawks a player down. Guess we're not winning this one.

Pinning this post and crossing my fingers it isn’t the case.

Agree Clint. I reckon Oliver will too.

Not convinced about gus

BIt of niggle. Good might fire us up. We are better than them.   Need to keep running

Jacko showing glimpse. Love it.

Pickett already causing headaches up forward.

Burgoyne doing a lot of things he ‘never does’

cant they just say he is playing a bad game?

Brilliant pressure inside forward 50 in the second half of that quarter. All of our goals came directly from that. Well done.

Gus a shadow of his old form but at least a few others returning to old form and some exciting new talent.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
