Pre-game, the AFL website clearly saw something they liked about our Weideman.

Selection still bothers me.... we should have brought in Sparrow to run with Swallow.....

(tongue in cheek)

Surreal as the umpires walk out.

I really want to see Langdon stop and prop to assess his options today. Brad Hill is someone who does this well and when you have that acceleration you don't need to just run off the moment you get the pill.

Cue the trade-in May vs. pick King comparisons

There is no comparison. King will be a star for the next 10 years. May was what we needed at the time.

Tmac to toe a behind for a 4th qtr last play victory that catapults our season!

Yep his ball use has been trash and a major disappointment. Because other than his ball use, I’ve loved his run and spread and his speed on the wing. But he lets himself down with execution and decision making time and time again.

Melksham needs a big game today if he wants to retain his spot. When he plays well we play well forward of the Centre so fingers crossed he can pull a finger out today.

I'll preface this by saying yes, I know, all that stuff since 1964 and over the past 18 months. But even before the media pile-on I detected something different in the players as they walked from the field after our last match, heads hanging lower than usual, and then also in the post-match presser with Goody. They are frustrated with themselves. Relocating operations interstate is undoubtedly difficult, but I think this week is a character test. Line in the sand stuff. If they don't come out firing then I'm not sure what hope we have.

Carn the Demons!!

Big games expected from Viney, Oliver and Melksham

As long as we continue to look to draw a ‘line in the sand’ we’ll continue on with the mediocrity mentality.
We need to be at peak mentality at all times.

here we go again fellas

get ready for stress and excitement for 3 hours

I've got a cherry coke to keep me happy if we lose

Was Lockhart practicing his [censored] golf swing during the warmup? Is this under 10s?

I miss watching the set shot kicks for goal before a game while I eat a four n twenty pie.

They will miss it when they count

I feel that it's reasonable to resort to cliches while trying to amp myself up for a game I've been pretending all week not to care about.

Can we assess, hold up when needed,  look around and pick the right options.  Then hit them up particularly up forward?

Do we play that ridiculous front half zone tonight as per the Cats and last year against the Tigers?  Hopefully that's well behind us and we bring the pressure intensity on our oppenent through the corridor.

Can the Weid take a few grabs, get involved and hit the scoreboard?

How does Harley go?

Do Salem and Melk finally show "SOMETHING"!??

Good luck fellas and lets hope we pull a finger or two out.

Visible change in game style so far. Let's see if it continues.
