I assume you already know the answer

I assume we have one Essendon player in 14 day quarantine which no one really knows if he should be or not and no effect to the general public, which surely is what Qld is about.

State premiers are running around behaving like despots. This is a complete farce. AFL teams get tested twice a week. Today the Vic figure is 75 and yesterday 49 in population of 6.6 million. There are 2088 confirmed cases in victoria and 3100 in NSW. It is a joke.

i don't think there is an answer until he has an anti-body test and even then i don't know if that is definitive

why don't ants get coronavirus?

QLD are really starting to [censored] me off. Their premier is doing so much damage to their economy. She is a complete nervous Nelly.

And promoting coal mining through Adani and big Clive.  Ridiculously supporting burning fossil fuels !!  They just need to have Vic team fly in and fly out same day with compulsory testing for each day for 3 days and prior to game

Active cases are more relevant to the current situation.

I'll add this, I could understand the Qld gov. position if there was a reported case of a member of the public contracting the virus from contact with a player or official from the AFL but there isn't.

351 in NSW and 250 in Vic.

All sounds good but...

Check out what's happened with the Warriors.

...by the way what a class act the Storm are..

Have great admiration for Bellamy, Smith and Hoffman.

As an aside that was one of the most amazing things I've seen from a professional sporting organisation. The Storm really are a well run operation.

I really wish it didn’t seem inevitable that we will play them back into form and lose by 5 goals. I really do.

Easy answer, just do the rest of the draw with 16 teams, leaving Brisbane and Gold Coast out. Let them take it up with their Govt

You are not alone Pman!

The obvious answer is for Brisbane & Gold Coast to move south for the foreseeable future - No games in QLD

Edit: If other state premiers play hard ball move all clubs to Victoria. They could play at MCG, Docklands, Geelong, Casey, Princes Park etc.

If either side kicks 6 goals they are guaranteed the win

This is such a horrible event, we have people complaining the last couple of weeks about "chairman Dan Andrews" and how he has been too slow to "open things up again". They do that and cases go up again, while people are getting stuck into other Premiers looking after their states. They can't win.

It is so hard as there is just so much at stake from a jobs, livelihoods stand point but I'd rather be safe than Florida.

Would be a good time to get the Tigers IMO. They have been ordinary since the restart.

We will play them into form you can count on that

Of course some in the Northern states who can't stand Smith, Bellamy and Storm found it condescending.

Always looking for the negative.

It was a great gesture and I'm sure it was taken in the right way by the players.

only reason this season is going on is cos of broadcast $$ to keep clubs afloat

And that is why anything is on the table, as the season is on a knife’s edge. We are in the middle of the worst pandemic in maybe a century and we are trying to keep sport going.

The other States offer crowds now whereas they are two months at minimum in Melbourne.

NT will pay money as would Tasmania for a few games in each Sate/Territory.

Gil has won the lottery if you think about it.

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking.  We filled our boots with percentage — now a whopping 520.7% — and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourne’s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasn’t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's  six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his team’s unfulfilled potential rang true … well, almost.
