Well the game is over. Brayshaw needs to be dropped. Oliver has played his worst ever game. Spargo, O.Mac, Hibberd, Jetta, ANB and Brown are not up to it. Petracca is a tease. T.Mac is a backman and Harmes is a midfielder. Pre season heroes they are.

Kozzie & Jack appear to be the only highlights worth keeping an eye on

Langdon has also been wonderful.
The rest to the tip.

Obviously a jumper clash confusing our players - we keep kicking and hand-balling to the opposition

I think we've built a lot of the game plan around the idea that TMac will be at least useful, not he really hasn't been.

Viney only player showing something solid today, Kozzie has given some fun and hope.

Thanks yet again Demons. I can’t watch this [censored] any longer. Off to put my snorkel on and lower myself into a bath full of dettol for a couple of months.

What is that terrible elevator music they are playing between goals and ball ups?

Team for next month, next year possibly next century.

C : LANGDON, PETRACCA, TOMLINSON

HF: PICKETT, JACKSON, JONES

F: BEDFORD, FRITSCH, MELKSHAM

FOLL: GAWN, OLIVER, VINEY

IC: WEIDEMAN, HARMES, HORE, BAKER

Kozzie and Lockhart must be wondering why they’re doing so much of the heavy lifting for all of these supposedly experienced professionals.

Those two and Viney can hold their heads up.

Self isolation is beginning to look attractive. Good luck to everyone. Stay safe and healthy.

a sad day for footy and even sader for the mfc shocking performance

Self-loathing?

... Yeah, that's when you're in the last couple of days in the world as you know it, and still subject yourself to this torture. I deserve no better. I'm going to watch this until the end, and then count the sheets on my few remaining toilet rolls.

Big question mark over the coaching now.

I’m shocked that people are turning on Spargo, he has so many weapons to his game!

CB we are only a few hours into the lock down and your already feeling a tad NQR i see! (Ss*)

2 more months to work on our shortcomings, because we obviously haven’t addressed them in the previous 6 months.

How people are paying out Oscar is beyond belief. He and May are playing very well, especially considering the amount of ball they are seeing.

He gets it but can’t kick still.

Its the dees way

One of the saddest days in footy was Fitzroy’s last game and it was in Perth. Very similar feel, who knows when we see our beloved Demons again in the Comp we know and love. 1 quarter to go.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
