OMac playing well, at least. Don't think he's lost a contest and has looked far more proactive.

No he has fumbled easy balls causing our attacks to break down and kick has been shocking. A player with better awareness would have touhced the ball on the line.

West Coast a class above. Whenever finals come round, they'll be front and centre, just so much talent from one end to the other.

They look really good don’t they.

How did the dud centre bounce straight to Naitanui not get recalled? That was just a joke.

Because it didn't bounce to Gawn

Alex Neal Bullen 1 disposal that quarter.

Someone again tell me what he brings to this side??

Thought we might struggle a bit. You can't name Bedford and Pickett as debutantes and keep ANB in without a worry.

Losing only one game for the season (given this will probably be the last game) is pretty good isn't it!

what a p*** poor effort, eagles chip the ball around with ease as our players playing meters away from or behind their opponents. another 6 or 7 weeks off may help our players to hand pass and kick the ball to their team mates. To think i have been waiting months for this game to come along.

depressing first quarter

I remembered watching the Adelaide game and thinking what have they changed in terms of forward set up and tactics, the answer watching that quarter is absolutely nothing.

Still long bombing it to outnumbered contests instead of lowering the eyes. Are the forwards leading to space, demanding the ball? (Question not criticism)

Seriously we are playing against one of the best defences, don’t drop it on their heads!!!

He's fumbled it twice and still takes 5 years to get foot to ball. But yes, positive!

If we’d kicked straight, and they kicked crookedly, we’d be well in front, despite Gawn losing hit outs to Nicnat.

Nullify Gawn, nullify MFC. It's too easy for the opposition to figure out.

Only saw the least 5-10 minutes.
Looked so like 2020 .... randoM inside 50s .... no goals.

Opposution easy systematic inside 50s .... easy goals.

What have we learned?

Forward entry looks like we are still playing 2019 season. Not the start anyone wanted.

Pretty pizz poor so far.

Would it be wrong and insensitive to want the player's to start needlessly coughing and sneezing?

Would give us some more time and space ?

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
