You sure hate to exaggerate hey.

Catch ya again after the next Blues game I suppose. Cheers.

103 is a big score you twit. And anything over 60 points this year has been an above average score.

And please, I'm basing my opinion of Levi on his whole career, not just week to week. This year, he is drawing the 3rd tall defender of the opposition because McKay and McGovern are their best 2 talls. He was quite serviceable last year, but before that, he was an average plodder in a [censored] team. His goal kicking has always been terrible, actually, I'd call it a liability. What his stats don't show, even since he has "improved" his goal kicking, is how many out on the full he kicks. These stats sucked you in just earlier this year, "he literally hasn't missed" I think you said. He had missed-he missed the whole bloody goals AND points on a number of times.

Casboult's greatest strength is his contested mark. It has been most of his career. But what's the point of taking pack marks inside 50 if your conversion is terrible? He would actually do our heads in as he rarely let's the ball hit the ground, which is what our game plan and forward structure is based around.

He's holding his own in a team that is playing well, more so because of the game plan that their coach has introduced. If you look at his form over the past month, he has stunk it up.

You clearly have a communication channel with someone associated with the club. Your mail is often quite accurate. But please understand that in this case, where you are using your own opinions (hopefully) rather than having them fed to you, that you are actually making a terrible call.

Average score so far this year (on quick maths) is 61. So hardly call 55, 61 and 64 "big scores".

Can't be bothered responding to the rest of your thinly veiled excuse for an insult post.

Cheers.

I walk into this thread thinking there is some relevant news re Jesse Hogan and there is an entire page wasted discussing whether we should target Levi Casbault. Stage 3 restrictions are really taking their toll. Can I suggest we all watch and enjoy tomorrow night's game as what is shaping to be a fantastic contest regardless of result.

Casboult is the saviour.

Because that's what I said...

Clearly the concepts of list maturity & depth, the practicalities of list management and our trade position this year, player roles, team strengths & weaknesses are a bit above the pay grade, or perhaps attention span, of some.

Am a Jesse Hogan fan.

Saw thread had an update.

Am very disappointed.

Gee I thought this thread was about bringing Hogan back. I must be mistaken. In any case he can stay over West and play as many games as his body allows which I suspect won't be many.

Reckon Casboult has a string of 3 or so games every year where he looks unreal & gets praised for his immense improvement only to fall off a cliff and carry on like his usual squid self the remainder of the season

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
