Elliott's future is cloudy, but he's lightning quick and would deliver us the cup.

I love these riddles.

That's it, to a tea...

If Browne says we’re leading the race then we definitely aren’t leading the race

When I first heard this one floated it was the longest of long shots. I am surprised to hear that the odds are shortening in our favour. Still a bit of water to go under the bridge.

I saw that too.  A brilliant bit of 'clickbait'  by Channel 7 to hold viewers through the ad break.

Sheesh.!

FWIW, and I know it's bigfooty but jumped on the hawks board and a few are saying that the hawks have cooled on Elliot and its pretty muxh a done deal to the Dees?

We've offered 4 years while hawks wont budge from 3.

Like I said, yes it is bigfooty but interesting indeed.

Not old, just turned 27. If we can keep him fit he should be at the prime of his career.

Sorry, but that doesn't suit your narrative

no need for sorry's,  i would just prefer blokes who have back and hammy history not to be offered four years. Unless south of 25.

but thats just me. if he comes over i hope he wins the b&f.

Wow. If we land Elliott and Demonland still complains... can't do anything right.

Melbourne have also landed Fyfe, Dangerfield, Franklin and Zorko. Oh! You're [censored] Melbourne! How old are they? 54?

Play it safe and posters [censored] on the club, go after who we want (Lever, May and Elliott) and posters [censored] on the club.

Can confirm we have landed Jamie Elliott on a 4 year deal.

A great get for the club, and exactly the type of player we needed.    With Darren Burgess running the fitness department now,  I am not too concerned about the 4 year deal.

Brand new account confirming a deal with no sources.

It’s obviously Jamie Elliott coming here to break the news to us before he calls Goody with the news!

I won't believe it until #ETthetradebreaker arrives with the news.

It’s my understanding that there’s still some water to go under a bridge. #ETthetradebreaker™️

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
