Terrible decision to roll out and play on by Tracc.  Had an entire open forward flank and bombed it on top of 2 heads ....with hang time!  We sure have some dumbies out there

Jesus.  Brayshaw is poison today.  Needs to get out of the midfield, its not working.

Gods imagine Oscar McDonald in some of the contests May has won today. I shudder at the thought.

Baker looks the goods.

Oliver Viney and Brayshaw need to get more involved.

Jesus Christ we are garbage going forward. Nothing has changed.

We are lucky they can’t kick straight.

Harmes terrible marking attempt

If he’d marked that would have been a certain goal

We don't want to play that way in the forward line, but our midfielders want to play that way kicking into f50. There's your disconnect. Hopefully Goody's just soiled himself watching Gawn go down and we'll get some sanity next week.

Which is what I’ve been saying for half the season, we continually bomb it too the hotspot, only to have no real option there

Should we talk about the experience differential? He isn’t even playing and people are still getting stuck into him.

Our disposal efficiency is up significantly, particularly in 1st Qrt

Not in the forward half it ain't!

Never seen a player turn the ball over so much as Brayshaw has today.

He's like an anti Ablett Jr in terms of ball retention.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Essendon

It’s Pink Lady night at Princes Park — a vibey Friday evening setting for a high-stakes clash between second-placed Melbourne and eleventh-placed Essendon. The wind-sheltered IKON Park, a favourite ground of the Demon players, promises flair, fire and a touch of pink. Melbourne has never lost a home-and-away game here, though the ghosts of two straight-sets finals exits in 2023 still linger.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven May

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 2 Jacob van Rooyen

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.
