Port

Richmond

Carlton

1.St Kilda... Collingwood will be top 4 and we are looking for the bottom half of the 8

2.Brisbane... keeps both Adelaide and Brisbane within a bulls roar of MFC

3 Geelong (see 1)

4. Freo... see 2

5.North v Swans... probably irrelevant but if one needs to pick perhaps Swans .. would hate to be playin North for a spot in the 8 in Round 23 in Tasmania.

6.Suns... see 2

7. Richmond... will make the 8 whereas we compete with Hawthorn

8. Giants but a Carlton upset would be okay

I'm a bit the opposite. Would prefer Essendon to beat Freo and have as many teams on 4-5 as possible.

Remarkably, if we lose to West Coast and GWS but knock off Adelaide in Darwin, the ladder could look like this after round 11:

Fremantle 5-6  (8th)

---------------------------

Hawthorn  5-6

Port  5-6

Essendon   5-6

St Kilda  5-6

Bulldogs  4-7

North Melb   4-7

Melbourne 4-7.

We could still be in this thing despite losing 2 of our next 3 games.

Well im still feeling angry and crappy after stuffing up that final quarter so if freo beat essendon who we should be above on the ladder id be a bit happier. Have no idea who will win nth and sydney.

Id expect the pies to thrash stkilda

What an 'interesting' mess of a season. Keeps the possibilites just that little bit alight.

Excellent to see Adelaide still not quite getting it together. Keeps my 'on the hunt' dreams alive for the NT game.

I'll be at the Western Sydney / Carlton game tomorrow and will try to report as much as I can on GWS from up close.

On another note, 'our' Bernie Vince seems to be going alright on the MMM commentary panel, currently doing Geelong-Bulldogs.

Brisbane Lions have risen from the ashes.  Very exciting team.

Sydney now jump us and we’re down to 16th position ?

Did they leave the sprinklers on at Marvel tonight?

Heading to the MCG this afternoon to watch the Richmond V hawthorn game,

Beautiful day for football. Hoping for a good game. I will be leaving at half time if it is a repeat of the Essendon v Freo game of last night.

Maggots maintaining their pathetic performances in the Port v Suns game.

AFL needs to address this as a matter of urgency.

Woeful.

At the mcg. Nowhere near the crowd I was expecting. Lots of people trying to get in but probably fifty thousand at best

Another case where players stopped thinking a free would be paid in the Hawks/Tigers game.

RIP Holding the ball.

Hawthorn supporters must be the biggest bunch of fair weather, band-wagoners going around. They didn’t turn up last week either.

It's a Richmond home game but I would say the crowd is around sixty forty tigers way so disappointing all round.

The MCC section is very sparsely occupied. I'm in the AFL area and have a section of the stand for myself

Anyone understand why Carlton would have to wear white against GWS?  How on earth would Navy Blue (with white shorts) clash with the GWS colours?  Defies logic.  Yeah.  I know.  It's the AFL.  Nuff said...!

Same as asking why we wore our red-backed jumper on Friday night. We played West Coast in Perth twice last year and wore our normal jumper with white shorts both times. There's no clash at all between their royal blue/yellow and our navy blue.

Will Bolton survive a 100 point loss?

  • CASEY: Richmond

The winds finally returned to Casey Fields for the Demons’ third home game of the VFL season, and its impact was immediate. After two opening rounds played in uncharacteristically fine conditions, the Anzac Day clash brought back the familiar gusty conditions that have been a feature of the region at this time of the year.
Forced to kick into the breeze first, the slow-starting Demons faced a tricky opening against an enthusiastic young Tigers outfit. Casey responded by turning the contest into a scramble, pressuring Richmond into errors and missed targets. The tactic proved crucial, keeping the game tight for three and a half quarters before the Demons pulled away with the autumn wind at their backs.

  • REPORT: Richmond

It seemed as if the whole purpose of the Anzac Eve clash at the MCG between the Demons and the Tigers was building toward that single, unforgettable moment when Kozzie Pickett soared above Campbell Gray and all but fittingly etched his name onto the face of the 2026 Frank ‘Checker’ Hughes Medal.
