Smith has been really influential late in the second and early in the 3rd. He's playing a bit of a Brad Miller type role for us if I'm not mistaken.

Hunt again so dangerous. Jeffry hitting the scoreboard again like he does every week.

Keep up the hard run and intensity boys!

It's called turning your man or taking the tackle....he is devoid of evasive skills and confidence with ball in hand and instead always panic gives to either someone about to be set upon or out to no where in particular as soon as there's a bit of heat on.  Has no assets other than staying close to his man but then rarely wins in a one on one.

May's slackness has cost us in this role big time this year.

Not going to argue because i agree, he does lack those things,(but what full back would turn west coasts small forwards?) thats why i thought it was his best option. tonight he attacked the ball in a pack of eagles and took the mark. So far he has done a lot more good than bad, and his tackles have stuck. on his performance so far tonight i wont be checking for his name in the outs next week.

one more goal to us , and it blows it open right!??

Jones was on his own for an eternity. Got to lower the eyes and hit those short targets.

Where's the BIG man in the square?!?

The only chance West Coast seems to have of scoring is for us to f things up. And boy we did not disappoint there.

What a waste that passage was. Can't stand Kennedy.

Defensive shambles. All because we can’t use the [censored] ball!!!!!!!!!

  • CASEY: Southport

The Southport Sharks came to Casey. They saw and they conquered a team with 16 AFL-listed players who, for the most part, wasted their time on the ground and failed to earn their keep. For the first half, the Sharks were kept in the game by the Demons’ poor use of the football, it’s disposal getting worse the closer the team got to its own goal and moreover, it got worse as the game progressed. Make no mistake, Casey was far and away the better team in the first half, it was winning the ruck duels through Tom Campbell’s solid performance but it was the scoreboard that told the story.
