Pates 9,697 Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 Every week the Media likes to paint the season on the line picture with us. Fact is we’ve dug ourselves a hole so every game matters now. I’m not expecting a miracle today, but I am hopefull the Baker will show something to give us a bit of something different.

buck_nekkid 6,101 Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 I note that the Casey game is 2pm Sat. Emergencies can hop on the late night flight and suit up for Casey.

The amount of shocking turn-overs in the middle of the ground streaming forward was like a once in a blue moon sort of perfect storm scenario. Also Lewis single handedly contributed to three of their goals in the back half with some of the worst lazy, loopy handballs you’ll ever see. Luckily he’s not out there tonight. We might lose, but it won’t be a horror show like that. You rewatched the first half of the PF?!?! did you give yourself 50 lashes after?? ? 1

Call Me What You Will 755 Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 Interesting to see that The Age have not listed which clowns will be officiating tonight. I would hazard a guess that Western Australian umpires 6, 7, or 22 would be every chance. We will see. 1

Emerald 1,744 Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 I've been a fan of Oskar Baker at Casey so I'm looking forward to seeing him play tonight, go Dees! 4
Bitter but optimistic 22,289 Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 Being an MFC supporter, hope always plays a greater part than logic or form. We are facing the reigning premiers on a ground where our last performance was ( I wish) forgettable . Further, we have an injury list which would make a half decent footy team. Despite all that, I'm hoping for a memorable victory. I reckon Pruess is a bit stiff but obviously we've gone for dash rather than bash. I hope that works. To prove that my hope is alive and well, I've kept off the Shiraz until just now - In the hope that I'll be conscious and capable of further celebrating our win for the ages. Hope is a great concept. 1
Ethan Tremblay 31,388 Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 Just witnessed a middle-aged man in a west coast jumper slip over whilst walking over the bridge to the stadium. He landed on his guts as if he was about to go down a slip and slide. It’s a sign. 4 5
