Been reported and some talk the we are keeping a close eye on him? Swap with Dom Tyson??

We're getting some fairly bogan names - Travis, Brayden.... doesn't suit the image...or perhaps we're changing the image :)

He has some toe but isn't he a crumber?

Has only managed a full season once in his 8 seasons with 22 games played in 2017 and hasn’t played more than 12 in the other 7. I’m not sure he would offer more than what we already have.

I’d rather put some more development into Hunt and Stretch as ‘Line Breakers’ as they have age on their side.

Agree but doesn't hurt as depth in that department and Hunt and Stretch have been injured a bit

hello dean kent

No player was more disrupted by the drugs stuff, he was on the verge of breaking out, hurt his foot then had to miss the whole year.

He'd want to be cheap and maybe only a 1 year deal but I'd certainly take him.

Pick 75 for Colyer?

Colyer is one I wanted us to recruit around the $cully years.  A good run & carry player through the corridor.

I can't remember exactly which draft, if it was $cully draft or next.

# edit:  I just went back to check that draft... and I also wanted us to grab Daniel Talia big-time,,, in this draft... then I noticed who we took 2 places earlier than Talia...  arghh.... we took Gysberts.

I would prefer Colyer to $ulky, every day of any week.

Winger/Half-forward, linkup player, ball carrier.

I think those biases are shining through.

Scully is 10 times the player Colyer is.

Yes he would, and when young Farmer comes available to us,,, he will need some development time at Casey.

Colyer fits our timeline.

Look at the players we've delisted, they are the ones we are replacing.

... ready made 'run and carry', are top of my list at least.

Meh.

Is he any better than Kent?  AVB?  JKH?  Probably not.  If the FD see something in him and can get him super cheap then I guess you can't have too many complaints, but the bloke doesn't do a whole lot for me.

my bombers mate says 'take him...take him NOW'

she thinks he's one of the biggest butchers in their side, and that's when he gets it more than 15 times a game, which is basically never

suffice to say, not all peptiders rate him

I would not let $cully back into this club.  We don't need him.  &   I for one, don't want him.

There's plenty more smelly fish around.

They also didn’t rate Melksham

He would be a depth player much like he is at Essendon.

Fumble king....it's a no from me.

Can get the fumbles, and can butcher it a bit.

But has real pace and knows where the goals are.

Would give you more than the likes of Stretch and Kent.

Probably needs a change of club to get the best out of him, a la Melksham

Check the time of the game and the match score when Colyer kicks his goal.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
