Surely the word "chaos" whether used as "chaos ball" or "chaos game" wins the prize for the AFL's cliche of the year.

Having said that, this is not a bad article (apart from the ridiculous hyperbole of claiming Richmond's success came about "through sheer willpower" and the accidental error of claiming we peppered the Geelong goal in the second quarter).

Those that think Garlett should be back in the side would do themselves well to read this article....explains clearly why he isn't in the team

Good article. This approach is working wonders for us and for it to work you need to be working your butt off 100% of the game. Any less just doesn't cut it.

Chaos theory actually relates to there being order in chaos not disorder.

Ahh, the old probabalistic approach. Quantum football and all that.

Time to make some Hawthorn wave-functions collapse.

Interesting that ANB is statistically one of the best pressure forwards in the AFL this year for those that question his importance to the side...

Some old fashioned kinetic energy delivered by Viney, VDB and Nev will do the trick.

They'd need to hit much harder than Juice ever did.

Anna was in the rooms after the game on Friday. Appeared a couple of times during Roaming Brian.

when I first started watching footy as a kid I always thought the game was decided by chaos theory.

“ ......Neal-Bullen is rated ‘elite’ for pressure, as is tall forward Tom McDonald, with first-year small forward Charlie Spargo ‘above average.’ ....”

Anyone seriously feel that Garrett will replace Spartacus?

It's sad this is the case. It was only last year he was lauded for his forward pressure. What the hell went wrong?

I can only liken it to a previous wearer of No 4 that didn't do physical contact.......has all the skills but desire and intent can't be taught...

  • POSTGAME: Collingwood

Despite effectively playing against four extra opponents, the Dees controlled much of the match. However, their inaccuracy in front of goal and inability to convert dominance in clearances and inside 50s ultimately cost them dearly, falling to a heartbreaking one-point loss on King’s Birthday.

  • CASEY: Collingwood

It was freezing cold at Mission Whitten Stadium where only the brave came out in the rain to watch a game that turned out to be as miserable as the weather.
The Casey Demons secured their third consecutive victory, earning the four premiership points and credit for defeating a highly regarded Collingwood side, but achieved little else. Apart perhaps from setting the scene for Monday’s big game at the MCG and the Ice Challenge that precedes it.
Neither team showcased significant skill in the bleak and greasy conditions, at a location that was far from either’s home territory. Even the field umpires forgot where they were and experienced a challenging evening, but no further comment is necessary.
