Pies out in straight sets would be pleasant also.

Geelong, Hawthorn and Collingwood going a combined 0-5 and all being eliminated without a win would be amazing and also hilarious.

That free kick and 50 against Ryan was atrocious umpiring. The Pies player had clearly played on.

The umpires are absolutely crucifying WC here.

They must have a death wish.

I am 100% certain that the intimidators will prevail as the game wears on.

Those barrier fences look fairly flimsy and the umpires will be aware of this.

I thought it was clearly over the line!

Didn't even register a mention from these brain-dead commentators.

Seems like Pies players can get tackled and drop the ball and it's play on. Different story when the Eagles do it.

Plus the useless camera few from the other post didn’t help. Total garbage.

West Coke supporters seriously have NFI, just booing everything that goes against them.

Not sure why the Eagles are still just bombing it into Kennedy after he hasn't taken a mark inside 50 all match. Such a one-dimensional attacking strategy, easily being countered by Buckley, flooding defence.

Meth Coke supporters are the worst in the AFL.  What the hell is with the constant booing?

Theyve been doing it for years and still dont realize how moronic it is.

You never know when the umpires insist on having called play-on before the oppo can enter the 'zone' even when it is obvious the player has played on.  Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't.  I wonder what the rule is.....

PS. I can see a new rule at the end of next season about use of the boot to fend off a player... not a good look

How the hell can this be regarded as anything but a brutal and callous assault? The fact that it's still countenanced means that the inherently brutal nature of Aussie Rules still lurks not far below the surface.

Another aspect of this inherent brutality comes across when Mike Christian manages to explain and approve of all the thuggery and sniping in the Hawthorn Richmond encounter. It's like there's one rule for home and away games and finals are free for all gladiator contests.

2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
