Done for the game. Haven’t said much else.

Gone for the day at least. Commentators are speculating that it's a PCL type injury.

Out for game but most likely year

Having a Vailima - and refusing to pay for international access - how’s the Weid looking?

also - how did Kent do the injury? Innocuous? Jeez - he’s the modern Paul Prymke.

Weid starting strong. A good contestes mark and a few involvements.

kent was going hard for a ball. Really unfortunate for him.

Good stuff Gawn. Saves a certain goal deep in DemonTime.

Blow the final siren now.

Neil bullen ball so dangerous could have cost a goal

GWS spread and run on the outside in honestly terrifying. I don't think we can hold them with one down on the bench, likely to pick us apart in second half.

Not a bad first quarter GWS came out hard and we weathered the storm... shame about Kenty.

Should be a ripping game

Hung in there well. Need some forward pressure bad. If they starting hit some of their targets we'll be toast

It’s no doubt been explained but what’s with the retro looking jumper?

160th anniversary of the day the MFC just quietly invented the game.

Get ready for an old fashioned arm wrestle. Hopefully no wiener kids screaming 'Over the top Dad! Over the top!'

Can we hold out with one down on rotations?

AGREE defensive pressure needs to improve

I thought they were already...

You can't expect a team to hit every one! In saying that, I think we are also playing pretty well. Just a little loose defensively but we'll see how it plays out. Trac needs to hit the sticks when he has the chance rather than trying to lay it off so much

  • POSTGAME: Collingwood

Despite effectively playing against four extra opponents, the Dees controlled much of the match. However, their inaccuracy in front of goal and inability to convert dominance in clearances and inside 50s ultimately cost them dearly, falling to a heartbreaking one-point loss on King’s Birthday.

  • CASEY: Collingwood

It was freezing cold at Mission Whitten Stadium where only the brave came out in the rain to watch a game that turned out to be as miserable as the weather.
The Casey Demons secured their third consecutive victory, earning the four premiership points and credit for defeating a highly regarded Collingwood side, but achieved little else. Apart perhaps from setting the scene for Monday’s big game at the MCG and the Ice Challenge that precedes it.
Neither team showcased significant skill in the bleak and greasy conditions, at a location that was far from either’s home territory. Even the field umpires forgot where they were and experienced a challenging evening, but no further comment is necessary.
