My first thought was that it is hogans_heroes.

Nipple

Old Chris from Camberwell is a classic. Not as good as Terrence from Toorak but surely Chris has to be taking the p155.

The fact he genuinely believes the club has overlooked a top 5 draft prospect as a Father Son selection is just brilliant.

but watt if he was right? anyhowe, could we prove it? maybe opening too many closet dawes? and could get grimey digging up the past.

Re Chris, some mothers do have 'em. :o

I think it's E25

maybe e10, sounds like he's a got the sniffles

Is he the bloke who sounds like he's been inhaling helium?

I thought that was Terry Wallace

Ahh, now we know who Chris' alter ego is. Been channeling him for years.

I've always assumed he is a frequent poster on Demonland, still a small part of me thinks he's a made up character someone puts on as well.

Oh course he is! Will he own up though?

And no, it's not me

What you all don't know is Biffen's real name is Chris and he has a pre pubescent voice. Problem solved. Next.

Chris from Camberwell is right out there

Always gets on air and asks about 10 questions without stopping to breathe!!

Chris was Juice Newton's biggest fan

Surely has to be Pickett..

From hearing him for over 10 years I'd be amazed if he posts here. I can't really articulate why, but I don't think he walks among us. He says too many things that are at odds with what is discussed here.

Even our greatest nongs are a step up from Chris.

Just listening in to SEN when a caller by the name of Chris from Camberwell rang with three points to make:-

1. Melbourne needs a key forward and should go after McCarthy from GWS by offering its first round pick.

2. Melbourne should be claiming Darcy Parish as father/son because his father Les Parish played more than 100 games for us.

3. Melbourne should claim Andy Lovell's son under the father/son rule as he's a gun.

I don't have a problem with the first point although McCarthy wants to go back home to WA to play for Freo.

On the second, Darcy isn't Les' son and in any event, Les only played 7 games for us so he's not eligible to go father/son.

On the third, Kieren Lovell who is the player referred to, isn't Andy's son either.

I did however, love the bloke's passion, even if he is a bit misguided.

Anyone know him?

Never heard of the bloke as I don't listen to much radio, but it is not me.

Has to be Dee-luded surely.

I always wondered if dee-luded's unique writing style transferred to his way of speaking (i.e. a few lowercase letters followed by size 20, bold Comics Sans MS letters followed by some Wingdings pirate flags). I never knew helium was the culprit for said writing style.

Edited by Colin B. Flaubert

See him regularly him on the tram to the G from the mean streets of Camberwell.

Gotta love his passion for the mighty Dees.

Did you just hear his dulcet tones ?

i think he is a moron, thinks cam McCarthy coming to the dees also butcher don't know where he gets in from he is so far out

Edited by don't make me angry

He's a harmless supporter that is passionate about the Dees.

And that's all that matters.

He's not a troll; he's just a no one said he was a troll he just has a child imagination.l

He used to get up and ask the same asinine questions at the AGM for a few years in a row, haven't seen him there the last couple.

  • WHAT’S NEXT? by The Oracle

What’s next for a beleagured Melbourne Football Club down in form and confidence, facing  intense criticism and disapproval over some underwhelming recent performances and in the midst of a four game losing streak? Why, it’s Adelaide which boasts the best percentage in the AFL and has won six of its last seven games. The Crows are hot and not only that, the game is at the Adelaide Oval; yet another away fixture and the third in a row at a venue outside of Victoria. One of the problems the Demons have these days is that they rarely have the luxury of true home ground advantage, something they have enjoyed just once since mid April.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

From the start, Melbourne’s performance against the Gold Coast Suns at Peoples First Stadium was nothing short of a massive botch up and it came down in the first instance to poor preparation. Rather than adequately preparing the team for battle against an opponent potentially on the skids after suffering three consecutive losses, the Demons looking anything but sharp and ready to play in the opening minutes of the game. By way of contrast, the Suns demonstrated a clear sense of purpose and will to win. From the very first bounce of the ball they were back to where they left off earlier in the season in Round Three when the teams met at the MCG. They ran rings around the Demons and finished the game off with a dominant six goal final term. This time, they produced another dominant quarter to start the game, restricting Melbourne to a solitary point to lead by six goals at the first break, by which time, the game was all but over.

  • CASEY: Gold Coast

Coming off four consecutive victories and with a team filled with 17 AFL listed players, the Casey Demons took to their early morning encounter with the lowly Gold Coast Suns at People First Stadium with the swagger of a team that thought a win was inevitable. They were smashing it for the first twenty minutes of the game after Tom Fullarton booted the first two goals but they then descended into an abyss of frustrating poor form and lackadaisical effort that saw the swagger and the early arrogance disappear by quarter time when their lead was overtaken by a more intense and committed opponent. The Suns continued to apply the pressure in the second quarter and got out to a three goal lead in mid term before the Demons fought back. A late goal to the home side before the half time bell saw them ten points up at the break and another surge in the third quarter saw them comfortably up with a 23 point lead at the final break.

  • POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Gold Coast

The Demons did not come to play from the opening bounce and let the Gold Coast kick the first 5 goals of the match. They then outscored the Suns for the next 3 quarters but it was too little too late and their season is now effectively over.
