I have legit been crying since that Kent goal. My daughter and missus think I'm an idiot. They clearly dont understand what this [censored] club has done to us supporters for over a decade

My missus has been outside gardening and thought someone was dying in that last quarter from the sounds in the house.

I won't admit it, but yeah I will... I choked up big time :)

Just read an interesting stat:

First time since R01 that WCE have conceded 90 points in a game -
19 games in a row without conceding 90 points was the longest streak in the AFL era...

Game plan goes alright by the way...

If we ever kick straight it would take us a lot further. God it is frustrating!

When we missed in 2000 I got such a reaction I thought my marriage was over. Some people just don't understand. Fortunately still going strong.

Mighty Fine effort Demons

i knew Melksham was a huge part of that Forward Line.

The Weid, does he play next week?

Playing for a home final next weekend, huge stakes now

You Beauty.

Of course you're a bit mentally unstable. We're all shell shocked and not quite ourselves.

I'm 4 beers deep post siren and bloody loving it

My kid's jumper came in today with his nickname and big Maxy's number. What a time to be alive

Week, I had had 12 standard drinks during the game, love my coopers stout!

The noise at that venue was unbelievable!! I went to th port game earlier and thought that was loud, this sounded next level on the telecast especially at non decisions. Can anyone who attended let us know what it was like at the ground?? Great effort these boys have got some C in em!!!

When Hannan missed and they came at us and hit the front I thought we were cooked, today was the day the team dug deep and found something extra. There was every reason for us to capitulate, it would've been exactly what everyone expected but they fought and scrapped and came through the other side. Thank god we don't have to endure another year of final round craziness.

Harmes BOG for me. He was so important and stood up when it counted.

Oliver not far behind, he can do things that no one else in the comp can do. How rare is it that that sort of quality plays for us?

Hannan totally justified his selection, kicked three and set up a few more.

Kent didn't do a huge amount but when it was his moment he took it with both hands.

Jones's second half was big, I understand the criticism as he's the captain but he was important to us in the second half and had a cool head.

Gawn's a beast, best ruckman in the comp and anyone who argues against that is an idiot.

There's more I want to say but I just want to savour the moment. This could be the making of this young side, we've answered the critics, we're in the finals and I think the rest of the teams should have every reason to not want to face us. Today was a final for us, and we won.

EDIT: I forgot to add Melksham. He has become one of our top 5 most important players. His delivery and finishing ability is THE BEST in our side.

  • POSTGAME: Sydney

The Demons controlled the contest from the outset, though inaccurate kicking kept the Swans in the game until half time. But after the break, Melbourne put on the jets and blew Sydney away and the demolition job was complete.

  • CASEY: Northern Bullants

The Casey Demons travelled to a windy Cramer Street, Preston yesterday and blew the Northern Bullants off the ground for three quarters before shutting up shop in the final term, coasting to a much-needed 71-point victory after leading by almost 15 goals at one stage. It was a pleasing performance that revived the Demons’ prospects for the 2025 season but, at the same time, very little can be taken from the game because of the weak opposition. These days, the Bullants are little more than road kill. The once proud club, situated behind the Preston Market in a now culturally diverse area, is currently facing significant financial and on-field challenges, having failed to secure a win to date in 2025.

  • GAMEDAY: Sydney

It’s Game Day, and the Demons have a golden opportunity to build on last week’s stirring win by toppling Sydney at the MCG. A victory today would keep them firmly in the hunt for a finals spot and help them stay in touch with the pack chasing a place in the Top 8. Can the Dees make it two in a row and bring down the Swans?
