Didnt realize it was still April 1st.

Imagine naming a stadium after some lame American comic book thingy where all the movies are flooded with horrible looking CGI and no plot.

Well done Gil.  Moron.

I prefer the MCG!

Sadly renaming the soulless concrete box will not make it any more welcoming, nor the viewing any better.  Can’t polish a turd.

Will be great for kids

I agree with this. Kids will love this. Disney, Marvel and the AFL have a great opportunity from an entertainment perspective.

How appropriate

The stadium is named after the people who brought you Mickey Mouse

Self descript of the organisation that inhabits the Stadium and runs this competition

Ohh the irony.

Ewwww DC is crud.

I want to see the roof painted like Cap. Americas shield, better have tony stark like technology inside and if your team is doing shitty you should be able to unleash a Hulk on your team!

And if people are acting like wankérs then a stuffed toy unicorn drops into their lap.

I think it fits as most of the decision coming out of there are "comical". If the caps fit's???????????

As an aside I was reading yesterday that Etihad (the airline) is not sailing as well as it once was with route reductions and a removal of the large government subsidy it receives from the Abu Dhabi government.

Makes sense that they have stopped the sponsorship...

Any chance the MCG will ever sell naming rights?

I've heard they're negotiating with McDonalds to rename it the McG.

Seriously? Like he had a choice of movie studios or franchises to choose from? How, exactly, do you think these deals get done?

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc.
