Score line reflects effort.

Adelaide are on top of the ladder for a reason and they should still win comfortably. I cannot see the Eagles maintaining that effort for the next 3 quarters.

Maybe its us? Maybe any team we support just goes to water… I propose we shut demonland down and never watch another game.

5 tackles for the quarter. Crows are just showing up. No point in putting their body on the line

WC double in the free kick count

worst.

Still 3 quarters to go kids.

No use in throwing toys just yet.

Not looking good for us. Eagles are smashing the Crows. Crows just jogging round with nothing to play for.

Absolutely pathetic end to the season. Even if we miraculously make finals from here, unless we fluke a premiership then this season can only be deamed a failure. What a disappointment this club is.

West Coast have won their 16th first quarter of the season, the equal-best record in this category. However from their first 15 first quarter wins, they have managed a win-loss record of 8-7.

Personal pride

A pre-finals 'kill'

Knocking a rival out of proceedings

Exerting superiority

Practising the game plan

Being professional

Winning form

I used to think & play that way and I was just a suburban hack

The Crows have had enough "kills" this year hence why they are the best team in the league.

Today is circle work training for them. Many teams have done this in the past and still won premierships.

FIVE TACKLES for the Crows that quarter.

They literally arent trying.    Sickening.

The irony.

Adelaide fell well behind Sydney early last week but turned it around.

They're a strong second quarter team.

If they're still 3 goals behind at HT I'll be worried.

If you were Adelaide who would you prefer to play in the first final:  GWS or Richmond?

If answer is GWS they are indifferent to whether they win or lose today as GWS will shortly be 4th.

If answer is Richmond they won't mind losing as Richmond will shortly be 3rd.

The equation for us is still the same:  If Crows were to lose let it be by less than 4 goals...

Adelaide can't move from 1st even if they lose.

Don't blame them. They've got top spot win or lose and are just trying to get through unscathed to prepare for their finals series.

We did this to ourselves by repeatedly losing games against bottom placed teams. It's pathetic.

rgrs-last year adelaide wasn't playing for top spot, they own it despite a loss,a home final no matter what. WCE 18pts up qtr time which meeans we are out !!!

Agree. If roles were revered how would we go??

Who cares if we make finals we get smoked by 60 by the Swans week 1

I'd like to know how we can possibly play the swans from here. It's a weekend of Port or a summer of beer. Those are the options.

Free kick count 6-3 for WC, maggots will do everything they can to give the Eagles a winning send off at Subi

Yeah, you're probably right J.

I'm trying to rationalise it all and find a way (clutching at straws by the looks of it)

The only way that is possible is if tigers loose and wce don't knock us out. If wce don't knock us out, we will play port.

Except we would be playing Port.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
