i for one will be disappointed to lose Watts, yes he is hot and cold but i think his kicking in the forward line both at goals and to our players is the best in the team. He obviously has not shone as many would have wanted a number 1 draft pick but I think he provides better value in our forward line than Kent and many others. Part of the problem with Jack is our delivery too him is often not the best, or his leads are not honored.  It will be disappointing to see him putting playing against us.

Rumour going around that its Watts + pick 10 to Collingwood for their pick 6 to on trade to Crows.

If that happens its a 1st and 3rd round pick for Lever, which is fair IMO. (as long as he's not on $900k per year).

The Filth would be laughing at that deal. They get a free player for nothing.

Let's hope this is no more than a rumour

I thought that we had resolved - NEVER DEAL WITH COLLINGWOOD.

I don’t like this situation at all. There is a divide within the club..

If it's true it does sound a little like mark neeld. There are literally petitions being sent to the club to keep jack. Especially considering we're unlikely to get much for him

How do you know what we would get? The club may have a very good deal they are working on, I would love to see a player rather than a draft pick unless we can on trade for a quality player

Going by the value mentions in the media vs what jack offers

As i said before. The senior coach is putting his balls right on the line.

If Watts is traded we need a gun in return, otherwise he should be kept.

I am still angry that Earl Spalding walked for nothing 20 years ago!!

Ditto Ron Barassi. All we got was Vin Catoggiio, about twenty years later.

FMD this club is unbelievable.

We have just spent the last 3 yrs getting out of the [censored] after being irrelevant for the last 7 yrs prior to this and now in one season in charge Goodwin is doing his best to get us back into it

Ffs there seems to be no end to the constant bs and dramas.

I am having less faith in th coach the longer he is in charge.

Didn't work for Trent Croad.

Can't be bothered listening to the podcast, but to be honest it would not surprise me one little bit if we started to stuff things up again off the field.

We had it good for a few years, let's see if we continue that or implode MFC style.

I really don't give a rats what Roos thinks. He constantly talked about changing the culture on and off the field. Goodwin is taking action and should be applauded.

I seriously can't believe how much people are overrating Watts' importance to the team.

I can deal with losing Watts but to hear there is divide and infighting? Maybe the questions asked of Goodwin are fair? We can't afford anymore of this off field crap, I guy like Lever could pull out or stay away in the future. We need to get this right.

Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.
