A common symptom of apprehension is referring to oneself in the third person.

That is why Redleg often does that.

Just got to the ground. Sun is out although there are clouds around. They have just announced that it is a sold-out game. The boys have just run out for their warm up. The noisy announcers are even more annoying than at the MCG. Go Dees!

Playing a side that has been decimated and on the ropes. Plenty to be worried about for us. I hope not and fingers crossed.

Stash in hand and in a good spot near the 50 line. I don't think it is any cooler than at the G at present

Surface look dry and near perfect.  The clouds are moving overhead so there is some wind but not really noticeable here in the stand.

Anyone know how to stream the AFL app from an iPad to an Apple TV? It seems Telstra may have updated the app to completely block screen sharing, not even limit the size!

I'm nervous. We must win this one to give ourselves a comfortable run to the finals. Otherwise prepare for the typical nervous shitfight that is being a Melbourne supporter!

Lose today and every match is an elimination final from here. Simply a must win; we can't rely on 12 wins getting us into finals anymore.

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
