If west coast play in the 8 it is a joke. They are nicht gutte.

So sick of them making the eight.

They are the very definition of pretenders.

And if Jeremy Howe makes the AA team ahead of Jetta or Hibberd, there should be riots.

Of course Rance's jab to the guts that instigated the encounter will go down as (yet again) low impact, low contact, totally accidental - small fine.  Protected sniper.

And the MRP questions re Greene will go along the lines of:

- who does he play for - GWS

- who are they playing week 2 - Demons  - one less week.

Agreed. Rance should get a week for what he did. If the AFL is serious about this (hah!) they will crack down on instigators.

you need to take that up with eddie

Blues looking pretty ordinary up at the Gabba :-)))))

Pies were close a few minutes ago, now a 3 goal deficit at 3QT.

Meanwhile Brisbane are smashing Carlton. Wonder if this impacts on North tanking?

You ever had one of those weekends where despite a win you feel as if we went backwards.

Even the upsets worked against us.

O well .... no reason we cannot win five more straight

Not like Carlton to tank......poor old pies..

BT said "do you ever think we'll see an untried coach again, Leigh?"

No BT, the coaches we have now will coach for eternity.

Schofield gave away a free 15m out to ice the game.....couldnt happen to a nicer bloke.

Well done pies. Nice choke West Coke!!!

40 seconds left "Eagles can still win it."

Leigh Matthews is well past his best before date.

It'd be nice to play West Coast here in the finals.

Awesome stuff,  helps us in the race for the 8, hurts West Coke making the 8 and the win means zilch for the Pies who are going nowhere.

Win all around.

That was one of the worst decisions I've ever seen.  Reid had a fistful of Schofields jumper,  I don't think Schofield touched him!?

Yeah true, but we all hate Schofield...... :)

I actuallly cheered the goal that Elliot kicked. The only reason west choke get near the finals is their homeground advantage.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
