The silence from the club to members is poor. I  even asked and got no reply.

Maybe they didn't understand the question...

There will come a time where holding out for a bigger offer in the hope that getting top market value is worth waiting a little longer for, will only last a few more weeks before that idea becomes untenable. There will come a point where accepting a smaller deal sooner will make more sense than accepting a bigger deal later - if that makes sense...

Can we just put a panel on the back that just reads 'Your business here' until we get a sponsor?

Or we could go with "I'm with stupid -->".

Although that would look good when we play a man-on-man game but perhaps not so good with a zone defence.

Seriously what do you want from the club?

1. We don't have a sponsor because.........

2. Our price is too high

3. No one wants to sponsor us

4. We dont want to lower our price to set a low benchmark for future

5. We are in deep discussions and nearly there.

Get over yourself.

We don't have one. Do you think the club are trying to get one? Do you want the club to issue a press release every time we make a phone call to potential sponsor?

I'd be guessing you don't work in the commercial world becasue you sure as hell have little idea about how it works.

We have AHG as our main sponsor. I wouldn't have thought you would have 2 sponsors from the same industry.

What ever Mr. High and mighty.

What I would like from time to time for the club to speak to its members and give them and insight into the club and what is going on. Sorry for caring. I think major going ons like lack of a major sponsor which could potentially mean a end of year loss would be something the club should be proactive about. I get that information from Bolton.

just noticed china southern on the collar on adelaide coach collars...we have IG on our coach collars. china southern came on board as a sponsor a couple years ago - have we shafted them? or are they diversifying their sponsorships. have we missed the opportunity to upgrade them to a jumper?

Haven't shafted them

They diversified.

Check club website and observe sponsors on background  at pressers.

Thought it was mentioned that the one we were courting was a beer company?

How about we go left field and approach the Australian Beef Industry. An industry body more likely to have resources than an individual company.

Red and blue are  comparable colours. Paler diet was key last season is it still in favour.

Could provide plenty of crossover with cooking shows and references.

Might endear us to the NT citizens involved in the industry.

Also could be a handy international reference if we play in China.

Even as an introductory reduced rate for rest of season could have mutually beneficial community appeal.

Problem is that if we go in that direction someone on this board will have a beef with that idea.

You're right.

There's too much bull involved.

They are not exactly stampeding in to the marketing office.

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
