I try.......if you come onto a public board and start handing it out, you have to take it as well, in a manner of speaking of course, some of the 'boys' on here are good at the former but not receptive to the latter....I spent 15 years in the military, where I was insulted and bullied by true professionals, I can handle any nonesense thrown my way

The problem is your attempts at banter or humour or whatever you're attempting come across as awkward or just plain boring.

There's no wit to what you're trying to hand out.

Ah, so psychologically scarred from years in the military? That makes sense. I hear they're pretty progressive with their gender politics as well.

No it makes a man of you, said in a rather high pitched hysterical way of course.

Gender politics, how many rap videos have you watched that seek to portray women as anything more than sex objects...please

Meant that the schoolyard name calling that I am subjected to now and again seems tame in comparison to what an RSM could muster up at a moments notice

Your opinion of course, which I respect and cherish,  I could suggest you go back and reread some of your pearls, but that would be petty of me, wouldn't it, I am sure you could recognise that

It all depends on which giant of comedy Deestroy All has as his benchmark for humour BBO, his post is just the normal 'tongue sticking out' and not an attempt at a humourous riposte, something at least which you attempt and I respect you for

No binary would be 00000001, it was meant to be 11 out of 10, thought it was excellent, perhaps I should have stuck with saying that

i'll have to give you a lesson in binary number systems, saty. 11 bin = 3 dec, 10 bin = 2 dec.......you can complete the division

anyhow, i'll accept the compliment

Damn,  my binary to decimal converter app on my phone lied to me, maths not one of my strong points being Liverpudlian, more practical than theoretical, ie horse racing odds, checking the change at the pub etc

lol ProDee still rubbing everyone up the wrong way after all these years, one of my favourite posters ever.

I doubt he takes himself as seriously as everyone takes him.

Feel the same re ProDee, exc pt I am very confident he takes himself even more seriously than others do.

No pure laughter at a fine piece of humour actually. And he is right.

You're supposedly at work.  What a disgrace.  You couldn't work in an iron lung.

Oh please, SWYL, you are lowering even your standards there, I am just awaiting his reply, so I can be floored by the sheer comicality of it

Rod, it's probably half-way.  I wouldn't have had half the barneys I've had if I was a super relaxed puppy dog, but it's definitely (defiantly for some) water off a duck's back in the main these days.

As for name changes ?  Hannabal was permanently banned and I think Ben-Hur was too, although Nasher would know.  But I do like a change now and then.

Destroy has the sharpest wit I've seen and I reckon he could clip hedges with his tongue if he wanted to; Axis has a great angle to footy; Fan was very smart and balanced; and Dr John Dee is a very intelligent man with some appalling political leanings.

If anyone wants some other critiques don't hesitate to ask.

I can't even begin to explain the overwhelming sense of disappointment I immediately felt when I wasn't given a name check in the post quoted above

Is that asking, disguised as a quip?

I'll give you this Saty, I might shake my head at some of the stuff you report, but I do believe that what you write on this forum as feedback from the players you genuinely have heard from their mouths, albeit there is a sizeable element of omission. I also believe you really do say to them what you say you do, which often perplexes me, but each to their own.
