I'll take any win on Monday, but if we were able to win big, there's a chance we could go as high as 9th if Carlton lose.

I reckon we might be taking a bit of a risk with Viney. I hope it doesn't backfire. I'll trust the FD to know that he's right to play. I just know they've admitted a few mistakes already this year. Namely Brayshaw's inclusion earlier in the year.

And remember Trengove?  Apparently it was all OK to play with his foot injury despite him being outrun by the MCG shadows.

Well, this incarnation of the FD wasn't responsible for that.

Strongest side we have field for the year

Not far off it. I'd like Brayshaw, Jeffy and Salem in there. Pedersen as well, but it's not far off it.

Forgot about Jeffy.

Really hope Vince still plays on the ball with Viney back in the team. I think Jones should be the one on the outside when needed

I can't see Vince not playing on Pendles.

Brayshaw, Salem, Lumumba, Garlett, Harmes, M.Jones, Pedersen all best 22 for mine this year, so not our strongest side IMO. Obviously some of that is form and not injury, but I'm talking when in standard form or form shown early this year, not best form.

My opinion, don't think Harmes will make the cut either this weekend and will be emergency.

Nailed it yesterday, and to think I know nothing about footy, imagine if I did

The Pies side includes Grundy, Witts, Cox and White. And they will still lose the ruck.

And Marsh

Who is Harmes better then in Monday's side? He got dropped for a reason and that's because he isn't best 22.

We will know soon enough 'Adam'...

I'm sure Jack put his hand up, I just hope the FD didn't fall for it.

Dawes, Frost, Stretch, Wagner, Omac, Trengove, Hunt.

Those players aren't best 22 (currently) if everyone is fit and in standard form IMO.

Stretch has shown he is definitely in our best 22.  Trengove has had 1 game back and is a star

Wagner has had a decent season Stuie, would have him over M.Jones. Jones has only played 4 games, he was good against GWS, OK against North & Pies and terrible against the Dons

Just take it in the context I put it, which was at this point right now but going by the standard form shown, not the ceiling, that is some of those names are in there now but could be best 22 end of season. For mine, Stretch and Trengove don't quite have the runs on the board yet but would be close. Hopefully that makes sense?

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
