Does anyone know where to find the odds/place a bet on how many wins we will have for the season? All I can find is an over/under type deal which is generally 7 wins.. I'd prefer to go for 10 wins at longer odds. I'd like to do it this week in case we come out looking awesome on Saturday and the odds shorten. Any help appreciated.

had a look on sportsbet, no luck.  they usually have hundreds of markets for AFL

incidentally: Gawn is paying $12 to be AA and Hoges is paying $23 to take out the coleman.

i like those odds

also think Mills at $8 is a monty for the rising star

I'm liking Gawn at $12 DubDee. Seems set for a cracker season.

I put 10 on hogan at the same odds for the Coleman a while ago.. 10 on Petracca for rising star.. Pre toe injury at 6.5.. And 10 on Viney to win the Brownlow at 151-1 Got a good feeling about Viney.. Should of put it on for top 3..

I think Petracca's odds of $8 will lengthen to about 15's or more soon after round 1.

As he isnt training with the main group as yet, I cant see him being picked.

So about round 2 or 3 will be a good time to get on IMO. Thats my plan anyway.

I love Max Gawn and believe his rise this year will go a long way towards us making the finals but I think $12 is way too short.

1) he is a massive beast with a history of injury problems

2) they normally only pick 1 ruck and Goldstein is a dominator who never gets injured or even suspended.

Sportsbet are paying $1.66 for more than 7 wins and $2.16 for less than 7.

I got got in last month for more than 7 wins at $1.90.

Good bet in my books

does that mean if they get 7 on the nose you get half, ie $1.33 ?

surely if your bet is for over 7, or,  if it is for under 7 and the result is 7 then either of the 2 available bets loses.

that would be stupid... or a very nice loophole for the betmaker

sorry I misread 'draws count as half a win'... 'deadheat rule' is what dubdee is referring to, that sounds right

so if you take this bet you are really backing them for 8 wins (or 7 and a draw).. don't know if that's all that great for a pretty mild return of  1.66

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
