Was reported by SEN that Col is a free agent and will be heading back to the Dees. If this is true, pay him base rate and make him earn his spot.

I don't like it either. But in a thin draft he maybe Good for rookie spot.

Is this trolling?

He is too busy wearing his designer t-shirts and getting his hair cut just right to worry about footy.

That being said, could you imagine......

Really want his character back @ our club... Couldn't make it in a top 4 club as standards too high .... Had 10 yrs & coasted in a very poor side by default not by work ethic

Give him a two year contract, at the end of which we trade him for a major midfielder from another club.

Worth every penny.

Spoke to Col recently at a Dees game and I highly doubt this.

I'm in some parallel universe...must be..

Oh hang on School Hols !!!

fmd some dross finfs it's way on the boards

If this rumor is true i'm not actually against it. Sometimes you don't know what you had till it's gone and Col may come back a new man.

Having said that he'd be starting outside our 22, so depth only.

Noticed that he only played 3 WAFL games this year. What happened to him?

Yeah lets recruit a guy that was having a kick for Merbien and sinks 10 cans every weekend since.

This is trolling.

Mate you want Kennedy. You'd have Sylvia back. Someone will start a thread about Cale Morton and you'll be all in.

This amazes me ... Couldnt cut it to play accountable footy in a top 4 team... Came back overweight & couldn't run..

You really think he would really influence & mentor our young players trying to set high std???

Rather pay Dangefield 2 mill a yr than pay Sylvia $1...

Serious?

Kennedy's a good young player. There's a reason why he was nearly taken in the mini draft back in 2011. Just got drafted to a club with more small forward/mids then they knew what to do with.

meh

I actually saw his last WAFL game and wasn't sitting to far from Lyon and a few of the other Freo match committee. Col was shocking that day no second efforts and no desire to chase any footy. He was in single digit disposals and from memory didn't lay a tackle. He actually played that day like someone who has been laced with cortisone and couldn't move but that wasn't the case he just couldn't be bothered. The Freo match committee were not to pleased with him and Ross wasn't complimentary at all. After the game Col was walking out of the ground with a big smile on his face without a care in the world.

Maybe he's turned the corner.

(Without flipping the car and running off).

You'll take anything!

I tell you what, if nothing else, you're bloody good for a laugh.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
