Who's going to win and who will be the highest placed Dee? And your smokey?

I think Danger will win (just) over Fyfe.

Vince most votes for MFC.

My smokey is Goldy.

Kennedy from the Swans to over run Fyfe.

Jordan Lewis my smokey.

Hoges to get most votes for the Dees.

Feel like Fyfe missed too many games at the end. Time for a ruckman - Goldstein.

Just realised Jordan Lewis would be a really big smokey seeing as he was suspended this year!

David Armitage as the smokey!

The umps vote. We have spent the last month whining about how bad they are.

I have no faith

I say that every year.

Brownlow is overrated.

We don't rate umpires doing their job, why would we rate how they think players play?

My tip is Jake Melksham.

Amid all the red carpet, banal interviews of 'who are you dressed/suited by' in swaggers Jonathon Brown.

His response: Lions champ Jonathan Brown informs our team that he is wearing renowned designer Target (or, as it should be pronounced, "Tarjay").

Trust JB to 'take the micky' out of the faux Red Carpet routine.

Gotta love his mischievous!!

roughy to win bernie vince not likely i know but he had a real purple patch mid year had a couple of dollars on just in case

wake me up when its over

Every time I see Mark Robinson on my TV screen I simply can’t fathom what series of mistakes caused him to be there.

Hamish McLachlan - what a wonderful media performer. The wit of David Niven blended effortlessly with the machismo of James Garner (circa Rockford Files). May he do fashion at the Brownlow forever.

N Jones takes the lead after round1 with 3 votes!!

Whose bright idea was it to have a bunch of mealy-mouthed footy players reading each round’s highlights from a script?

Thought McDonald was hard done by in the first round. Thought he was easily best on ground.

Same person who invented clash jumpers.....

My mute button is really getting a workout here. I aim to only hear one voice for the rest of the night. Too bad it still has to be Gil’s voice.

I'm bored already

Hogan and Brayshaw on a man date is the undeniable highlight

As for the fashion, Rebecca Judd. Just no.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Essendon

It’s Pink Lady night at Princes Park — a vibey Friday evening setting for a high-stakes clash between second-placed Melbourne and eleventh-placed Essendon. The wind-sheltered IKON Park, a favourite ground of the Demon players, promises flair, fire and a touch of pink. Melbourne has never lost a home-and-away game here, though the ghosts of two straight-sets finals exits in 2023 still linger.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven May

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 2 Jacob van Rooyen

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.
