Jesse Hogan finger surgery

Did the MFC get a job lot on surgery? Just saw a tweet from Jesse Hogan:

"Going into surgery for the first time and look who I get put up with. Grampa terlich #justafinger"

The thread title scared the living daylights out of me!! :o

Worried that it was his back

Very relieved to see Jesse's #justafinger tag

I'm really nervous about this. What if there's some kind of Frankenstein-esque mix-up and Terlich's skills end up in Jesse's body?

Don't worry, that just means we'll now have a rampaging Dean Terlich at full forward....yay.

Why wouldn't you actually link to the tweet?

No reason, I just didn't... I quoted the tweet so what does it matter?

I blame the young girls he has been been "dating".

Still chuckling.

May or may not have something to do with the boatload of kava I've had tonight..

Was that caused by young women as well?

A finger yes but I can't imagine how you could do a toe "dating" but then I have had a rather sheltered life.

It's ok, luckily Terlich is still under contract...

You sure you haven't given over your login to BBO for the night DC?

Can be done sitting opposite each other in a spa

Yes now that you mention it DC our centre half forward many years ago on our end of season trip to Pambula did suffer a strange ankle injury after an encounter in his VW. Apparently if he hadn't opened the glove box the "encounter" would have been impossible for a 195 cm agile forward. Gee this brings back a lot of memories of Drive In movies I never really saw a lot of.m

The gearstick was a quick shift in those days they say.

I'm sure you rode the clutch straight to fourth!

was a bit of a double declutcher meself, biffo

so doesn't this mean Terlich will not in fact be delisted as many of us expected?

It wouldn't have any bearing. If he requires surgery due to a footy injury it would be done whether he's required or otherwise.

Was he smiling?

OMG he's going back to WA.......

Terlich is contracted for another year I believe. Didn't he sign a 2 yr extension when Roos came on board?

Yep. Same thing happened with Bennell.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
