This weekend is the most boring weekend of finals every year.

Solution?

Semi finals friday night and saturday arvo

Saturday night - some kind of state of origin involving players from 12 teams no longer in the finals.

EDIT - i would propose a 4 team comp between Vic SA WA and allies. first year random draw, 2nd year has winners play off and losers play off.

As much as I hate Kangaroos, its great to see the fall of Sydney.

They will be struggle for a while now the COLA is being phased out and the ridiculous Buddy contract hanging around their neck.

The Swans simply did not deserve to win that game... a totally inept performance. Over-umpired in the second half after they let it go in the first half. Pretty ordinary game for the last three quarters.

Boring weekend of semi finals. Half way through the semi finals i turned it over to Fox Sports 2 to watch Tonga v Georgia in the Rugby World Cup instead.

I know hypotheticals are pointless but what if....

Dogs v Tigers and Crows v North

North beat Richmond who are a rabble. I don't care who they beat during the season, finals are a different game and Richmond can't mentally make the transition.

Swans had 4 key players out.

Norths first final is next week.

If they get flogged next week and think "oh well we won two" they are kidding themselves. Another team making up the numbers.

And yes, we couldn't beat Carlton.

About what?

north resting their players in round 23 while they played their whole team - cost them last week and theyd have got over the swans tonight.

absolutely disgustingly allowed by the afl when ladder positions were changeable. north wanted to lose that game.

everyone next year who is locked into finals will rest most of their team in r23 next year...

    After an agonizingly long off-season the 2025 AFL Premiership Season is almost upon us and the Demons have their first practice hit out against the Kangaroos in a match simulation out at Arden Street.     Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields.
