Yes i must watch the "other" version. But i love Big Kev as an actor!

The original was ahead of its time. Much like Twin Peaks. Both came out around the same time too. Its plot twists and narrative arc is amazing for a show that was only 9 episodes.

Brett Anderson reporting that there is a 'very good chance' he is at another club next year.

The man famously picked by Melbourne ahead of Ollie Wines appears to be on the way out of the club after three underwhelming years as a Demon.

Each of their careers could not have started any differently with Wines soaring to elite status at Port Adelaide, while Toumpas managed just 13 games in the last two seasons.

“Jimmy’s name came up last year and has come up again this year,” said SEN draft expert Brett Anderson.

“I think there is a very good chance that he probably plays at another footy club next year.

“He was a pick four and I think there was 17 other clubs that would have taken him ahead of Ollie Wines.

“All the talk of they took the wrong player, hindsight’s a wonderful thing.”

I wonder how many of the 17 would still be thinking he's worth a crack. They have their chance now

It is sad how any demonlanders have acted as if there were zero other clubs who would have made the same drafting decision, not 17.

I know I'm well and truly in the minority here but if we've been patient with Watts I think we should give Toumpas at least another year. Still think he will end up being a solid player.

We've been patient with Watts...and hes still not there. We're so enamoured we've shopped him and no takers.

This is the reason we should persist also with Toumpas ?

Haven't sold me !!

Can see a Morton like trade occurring. ToumpAs for pick 65

Just threw up in my mouth a little.

It's the same with every single other high draft pick of recent years that has turned out to be a failure

They all picked themselves

Might get Moore and a late pick for him from Port or one of the SA clubs could on-trade something to Brisbane or Gold Coast in our bid to get Redden or Bennell?

That is just not true.

Both Gysberts and Cook were first round draft picks that were not expected to go where they eventually went.

Sad isnt it. While dont think his value is quite that low, its not going to be pretty.

I honestly believe our drafting hoodoo's are behind us now. We simply can not afford to make such mistakes any longer.

Absolutely. Giving him away for chump change now would be essentially giving up on him, which would run contrary to everything Roos was saying prior to this season.

Toump can still become a decent player. We've seen the talent he has in glimpses. It's just going to take patience. I'll be disappointed if we basically chuck in the towel and give him away for nothing.

Staggers me that some grown adults can't differentiate between he's and his. I mean, honestly. The mind boggles.

Whilst I am a genuine pedant, just maybe autocorrect has had some influence. Can do strange things, sometimes.

My opinion is he is on the table, if we can fetch something decent, such as a 2nd rounder, he is traded. If not, and depending how the list looks after trade period, he re-signs.

Seems a pretty reasonable summation

It is sad how any demonlanders have acted as if there were zero other clubs who would have made the same drafting decision, not 17.

But the usual suspects will no doubt come out with "I told you so " or some variant.

Nearly everyone accepts he was rated a top 3 draft pick, let alone pick 4, so it's just one of those things.

I'd get rid of him now while he might have some value.

Keep turning the list over.

Not Sure what the fuss is about Moore skills just average, since being drafted has only played in dribs and drabs?

they were pick 11 and 12 that's obviously not the same as the top 5 is it

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
