Had a beer while watching his mates play at Colac, two days before his game on the Easter Monday.

He held his hands up and copped a week's demotion to the 2's. Exact same thing happened to Tex Walker two years ago.

If that's a reason not to draft a bloke then the world's gone completely mad.

Cheers Demon Jack, BarnDee and Member's Wing. I must apologise though, I was just being a disingenuous arse. I meant can someone explain it as in; Motlop is sledged by the opposition and then narked on by his teammates and misses a game despite being BOG - and we should then steer clear as such? I probably don't have the full story.

Can you explain your reasoning here Fire?

The talk is that Prestia's only considering leaving due to the state of the Suns culture, unsafe workplace and the like. It's an assumption on my part, but going on Bennell's recent history I'd think he's a part of that poor culture. If that is the case I doubt whether Prestia would be keen on moving with him.

Are Geelong seriously going to let this guy leave the club, damaging player, whichever club lands him will be huge for their club?

Some parts of his game like his sidestep really set him apart from other players

..I hope we are having a dig for him.

Humbug. We make a play regardless. It's not like he's signed anything.

We ,may struggle if some of the sticking points of his contract are a job lined up with the Knapstein Brewery after his playing days & VIP treatment around the Barossa Valley...

Out of contract, quick, goal kicking mid, would complement our mids nicely. Geelong are looking to spend money on imports and we owe them one for Rivers, Clark and trying to take Frawley.

Has re-signed with the Cats ...

Have to wonder what they offered him. The cats are on the way down right now. Maybe they told him they had Dangermouse over the line already and a few other imports as well. What they have at the club right now isn't good enough.

    Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded.     Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was.
