Not sure if the weather is going to be as bad as people think... Meteorologists have a tendency to over play these things. On the game, like most weeks im not going in too confident, essendon do have a young-inexperienced side in, but we aren't full of experience either. Just depends how we start, we know essendon will come at us early after the week they've had, we just need to be up from the first bounce. Think we will win but won't be a walk in the park.

I'm usually fairly confident at this time of day. I reckon our backs are better than most forward lines in the comp. Our forwards are adequate and today our mids should be better than the opposition. A hard fought 22 point win.

All my confidence will, of course, evaporate the moment the teams run onto the ground this afternoon.

This time next week, I will be in West Papua but in a slightly remote area with no access to Internet. So confident am I however about the Dees that I am tipping them to beat Brissie and the Saints in my absence. What is the weather like there McQueen? Edited July 11, 2015 by CBDees
