Potentially we have the opportunity to win three in a row, and have 7 wins on the board. For me at the start of the year I felt that if we got 8 wins+ this season i would be over the absolute moon, as it is double from last year and would give us some momentum into 2016. Perform well and we could be very close to achieving that with some more winnable games up our sleeve later on.

In 3 weeks time i would be disappointed if we hadn't won at least 2 out of the 3 games, so 2 wins is par for me.

What is your "par" for us after the next 3 weeks, which stands as a huge opportunity for us?

The time is now for this team to finally start stringing together wins. There are no excuses anymore.

Par for me is three, we should not drop any of those games.

In reality, I would be happy if we walked away with two. I expect us to drop one of these as we can't possibly have any consistency. Knowing us we will drop the Brisbane game so we still haven't won two in a row!

Momentum is a funny thing, helps you win games you might not otherwise.

Gee, if we can't notch up at least 2 wins from the next 3 weeks, I'll be very disappointed. But I've been disappointed so many other times.

Reminds me a lot of last season: we had Brisbane and GWS as the only two winnable games to close out the year and we stumbled...BAD. I said before the Brisbane game that we'd finish last if we didn't beat them...we didn't finish 18th but we finished equal last.

If we can't win 2 of the next 3 -- and most importantly beat Essendon as one of those two -- I would say that the spoon is still very much a possibility. All three of the next opponents are either at or below us in terms of development and progress but we have been at it much longer. Lose all 3 and we finish last. Notch 1 win and we're a legitimate chance for the spoon. 2 wins and we're looking strong. 3 wins and LET'S BREAK THIS MOTHER DOWN!

cannot be understated what a huge 3 weeks it is. Giant moment for the new regime, and just a touch after the halfway point of Roos' tenure. This is really going to tell us if we're on the right track or not.

Yes all three are very winnable, equally very easy for us to be us and lose them all.

The whole remainder of the season is loaded with opportunity.

Partly this is because of a much easier draw than the first half of the season - an unlucky proportion of our games to date have been against the top-8.

Partly this is because we are a better football club, with a better team on the field right now, than we have been in at least 4 years and probably 8 years.

I'm going to keep my mind on the latter, and keep watching for development and progress, Salem's return, McDonald overcoming his form slip, all those good things.

The perfect example was that fortnight between St Kilda and Geelong. Most would have thought we'd beat St Kilda and lose to Geelong.

they are 50/50 games par is 1 win & a draw.

We will win all three and the press will be talking us up as a smokey for the finals, a la Richmond last year.

This is a line in the sand moment for this club starting this week. The players must be switched on and aware of the significance of the next month. Most pundits will have this list falling over against a weak bombers, and it's time our club made a statement onfield. Anything less than a win this week will be shameful.

Jeez, we must have a whole beach to ourselves by now. How many line in the sand games have we played recently?

for the record i think we will be beaten by Essendon, i will then call for the sacking of Roos, then we will beat Lions & Saints, 2 in a row.

For the people who have waited 92 games to see the Melbourne Demons win 8 Premiership Points in a Row "HERE IT IS"

I don't like over-hyping games, but this three week block really is important for the club.

I think a win against Essendon could be the trigger though - get the stigma of being favourites off our back, get the win, get the confidence, remember that the West Coast game was better than the margin suggested. The Brisbane game is the easiest of the three too, the best option for us to get the consecutive wins monkey off our back, and roll that confidence into the toughest game, the Saints.

Lose to Essendon though (which I think is a more than realistic chance of happening), and we could well drop our bundle like last year and lose all three games.

I should say though that, on current form and on what all four teams have done this year, I rate us as the best of the four sides, and I would rather be Melbourne than any of the other three clubs. I may have to revise this in a week or two though...

These three games are keeping me awake at night. Soooo important.
