Do you/we realise how big the next three weeks are?

Our next three weeks before facing Collingwood:

Essendon

Brisbane

St. Kilda

All at the MCG.

Potentially we have the opportunity to win three in a row, and have 7 wins on the board. For me at the start of the year I felt that if we got 8 wins+ this season i would be over the absolute moon, as it is double from last year and would give us some momentum into 2016. Perform well and we could be very close to achieving that with some more winnable games up our sleeve later on.

In 3 weeks time i would be disappointed if we hadn't won at least 2 out of the 3 games, so 2 wins is par for me.

What is your "par" for us after the next 3 weeks, which stands as a huge opportunity for us?

Well I realized how important it was.

We all realized how important it was.

But the players sure didn't.

Sighing, anger and sadness doesn't help anymore.

It's too late now ,we had an opportunity to win two even three in a row and build some respect.

Not good enough....don't want it bad enough....too bloody soft.

I think we will be lucky to win another game for the year now.

Massive... I'd say fail but in reality it's really just a massive dose of same old Melbourne.

  • PREVIEW: Brisbane

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.

Melbourne’s much vaunted finishing power evaporated at Adelaide Oval on Saturday afternoon, exposed for the third time in four years by its Essendon Gather Round hoodoo.
