Trent Mckenzie, Charlie Dixon and Brandon matera would be good, straight swap for jack watts and a pack of skittles?

Hang on Skittles are valuable!

Dan Hannebery rumour is based on the fact he is looking to sell his house in Sydney, he insists this isn't because of a potential move back to vic.

Dan is a much better player then dangarfeild, have to throw million + Sydney could not match much since they already have two million +players.

I heard it on the Super Footy Podcast. Pretty much saying that there are rumours of him wanting to come home .... watch this space.

I do recall there were media rapports when buddy went up there that he as not happy with the agreement and that he felt he was entitled to a bigger slice of the money pie

I have serious concerns for the people who are saying they wouldn't want Harley Bennell at the Dees.

Really ever met him or dealt with him

Not related to the Suns but I really hope we have a mega deal Infront of Dylan Shiel, would be the ideal addition, bar maybe Fyfe i can't see any better options given his age, quality and upside. Pay the coin and get the deal done dees

Bennell would be great.

I'd risk the off field stuff. It hasn't effective his on field too much. Yeah his consistency stinks but I really don't care.

Stretch and Toumpas are our quick outside mids this weekend. There's no way we wouldn't be a much better side with Bennell. Even if he's the inconsistent off field clown Bennell.

I bet no one wanted Lumumba and Garlett last year. If the club backed themselves to get the best out of him and we could get him for something like a second round pick then I'd be stoked.

IMO Bennell would at least command our first pick, unless you are referring to Jamie, in which case your suggestion is way overs.

Gold Coast might be keen to sell him if he keeps stuffing up. He's a mess. (But I still want him)

Bennell would easily cost more than our first-rounder. You guys are greatly exaggerating any off-field issues he may have.

Pennant has a pretty good understanding on the WA boys, it may not be such an exaggeration.

Really ever met him or dealt with him

...and I think you are more than likely to get him back home 'Pennant', that is if either of the WA clubs show serious interest.

Two things;

1. In answer to your question/s, no and no. I could expand on this by saying I couldn't really care what he is like, as long as he doesn't instigate a culture change (clearly our offield culture is miles better than the Gold Coast's). If he comes in and averages 20-odd possessions a game, that's what I'm interested in. That said, I don't know what you are implying, which brings me to my next point...

2. Have you? If so, what's he like?

TIA.

I wonder - given his talent he hasn't exactly set the world on fire, especially with his consistency.

I bet Prestia has a better career, because he really puts in.

From Gold Coast I'd be keen to make the Prestia fantasy come true - the idea has lurked around for a few years already.

The trouble is, Gold Coast have some how turned out to have such a shallow list that if they lose any of those top half-dozen stars, they're talking rebuild before they have even managed to be competitive. So the price would be high.

I think we'll need a 'proper' ruckman in the near future, so worth keeping an eye on how the Tom Nicholls/Zac Smith situation plays out.

With the caveat we should also be monitoring Luenberger.

1. You may get 1 good year out of him and I personally think you wouldn't even get that over a consistent period, he will think he rules the roost we have nobody Luke Hodge like and that is the only thing close to what could control him long term.

2. Yes and I have formed my opinion based on this and on what others whom I trust have told me about their dealings with him.

Freo may look at him as a replacement for Danyle Pearce, Bennell would be farily handy in tandem with Hill. I think Lyon and him may have some heated moments until he toed the line. Meth Coast need more KPP'S and some bigger bodied mids, they have enough outside downhill skiers

I disagree on your first point. I think having a number of senior players, all from different backgrounds and interests, would have a much better impact on a player than one "bully" leader. His ability is there for everyone to see and make their own judgement on, I think he's an excellent player. Is he inconsistent? At times. Would he be more consistent in our program? Who knows.

In regards to your second point, what's the goss? Is he a thief? Rapist? Murderer? Or just a cocky little plick that thinks he's better than what he is? If it's the latter, then I couldn't really care - as long as he's playing good footy for the club, that's all I care about.

His standing actually went up a few notches with me when I heard Slobbo say that Bennell was trying to pick a fight with him at the Brownlow. He could've graduated to god status had he snotted the sloth, but alas...

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

Some veteran Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock to bring you the following observations from another Preseason Training Session. WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
