Someone showed me this, taken from Big Footy

Is there any audio of this? Have been reading about it all day, and before I get all worked up about it, I want to hear it first.

I'm laughing to myself about Leigh Matthews comment, saying "Hogan's weakness is when the ball hits the ground."

Just watched a replay of him turning Dalhaus inside out.

Still laughing... Ha ha ha, no wait!... Ha ha... Oh mercy!

Matthews was a good player and great coach, that's where it ended.

He is a very poor commentator.

Jesse might have missed the rising star nomination but surely he'll get Bob's Rascal of the Week.

I noticed that Jay Schultz may be looking for a new home. Is there a Klink in the draft?

Schulz and Hogan in the same forward line would be something. Will just have to settle with them being on opposite sides of the field this weekend. Wonder if any of the Fox Footy promo’s will go with a Hogan’s Heroes promotion for the game?

I'm not sure but I'd like to hear it too.

Jono Brown stuff, they'll be running it in network promos when he joins their panels after retiring.

Personally I can't see anything wrong with the Hogan and Pedersen combo if it keeps up.

His hair is terrible.

Does that help reduce the love?

Get a haircut Jesse, sick of your shenanigans

I'm sorry Jesse, I don't mean it, I love you so much. Your hair is fine.

Not at all. I think his hair suits him. A little lengthy and slicked back

Okay, so we've won 3 games, but there was a bit of swagger in regards to the way we went about things against the Dogs. Namely from J Hogan, but a few others were strutting around by the end of it. As long as their heads remain fastened, I like a bit of arrogance. The big clubs have arrogance. Would love to have some of that back.

Dean Kent likes this

It still does not alter the fact he may not have been the best this weekend..

You also have to take into account that he is a forward.

Midfielders always get more votes that deep forwards or backs

Just look at the Brownlow results.

By the way the result is not out yet is it?

Except the guy who got it over him is a FF/CHF. And I watched the GWS game. And Jesse's was far better.

Jaded is right. The selectors are idiots.

No RS but he is in the AFL 'team of the week'! And he got AFLCA votes from both coaches. Far better.

Just watched the replay last night.

I can't believe Jesse has only played 7 games.

He is absolutely amazing.

My heterosexuality is now seriously in doubt.

He never said this, classic forum inaccuracy. You may want to watch it again and listen.

and here i was thinking we were keeping a lid on the Hogan Hype.......

PS i love you Jesse, in a man crush kinda way......nah [censored] it in any kind way...

I think all of us were genuinely trying to, but how can you? The guy plays like he's been out there for 5 years.

The Melbourne store is going to run out of number one's to be printed on gurnseys!

What did he actually say? I didn't hear it on the replay

Happy to watch it again. But do I really have to listen???

'I'm jealous of Hogan. If i was playing against him i'd king hit him behind play when he wasn't watching. Like that good looking Smith fella. See how pretty he is after a broken nose. I could mark and crumb. Hogan will never reach my level. Did i say i'd king hit him?'

At least i think he said that. I could be wrong.

Personally I can't see anything wrong with the Hogan and Pedersen combo if it keeps up.

Good call but lets get Schultz as well

The arrogance was on show in our first game against the Suns. In hindsight, given the results the Suns have had, our victory probably isn't as impressive as first thought but by geez we showed some real mongrel in that game that clearly wasn't part of season 2014.

Let's hope we can sustain it this time around pick off the Power this weekend.

"Yeah, a king hit is just a good fair bump."

Hogan and Schultz all we need is a Klink and we are away.

Hogan and Schultz all we need is a Klink and we are away.

The klink is what happens when we're toasting our Grand Final victory.

Of course, it’s not the backline, you might argue and you would probably be right. It’s the boot studder (do they still have them?), the midfield, the recruiting staff, the forward line, the kicking coach, the Board, the interchange bench, the supporters, the folk at Casey, the head coach and the club psychologist  It’s all of them and all of us for having expectations that were sufficiently high to have believed three weeks ago that a restoration of the Melbourne team to a position where we might still be in contention for a finals berth when the time for the midseason bye arrived. Now let’s look at what happened over the period of time since Melbourne overwhelmed the Sydney Swans at the MCG in late May when it kicked 8.2 to 5.3 in the final quarter (and that was after scoring 3.8 to two straight goals in the second term).

  • CASEY: Essendon

Casey’s unbeaten run was extended for at least another fortnight after the Demons overran a persistent Essendon line up by 29 points at ETU Stadium in Port Melbourne last night. After conceding the first goal of the evening, Casey went on a scoring spree from about ten minutes in, with five unanswered majors with its fleet of midsized runners headed by the much improved Paddy Cross who kicked two in quick succession and livewire Ricky Mentha who also kicked an early goal. Leading the charge was recruit of the year, Riley Bonner while Bailey Laurie continued his impressive vein of form. With Tom Campbell missing from the lineup, Will Verrall stepped up to the plate demonstrating his improvement under the veteran ruckman’s tutelage. The Demons were looking comfortable for much of the second quarter and held a 25-point lead until the Bombers struck back with two goals in the shadows of half time. On the other side of the main break their revival continued with first three goals of the half. Harry Sharp, who had been quiet scrambled in the Demons’ first score of the third term to bring the margin back to a single point at the 17 minute mark and the game became an arm-wrestle for the remainder of the quarter and into the final moments of the last.

The Demons have the Bye next week but then are on the road once again when they come up against the Gold Coast Suns on the Gold Coast in what could be a last ditch effort to salvage their season. Who comes in and who comes out?

  • POSTGAME: Port Adelaide

The Demons simply did not take their opportunities when they presented themselves and ultimately when down by 25 points effectively ending their finals chances. Goal kicking practice during the Bye?
