I'm getting a vision that the cats can see the end of their 9 live Era, & are desperate to claw back the slide.

could it be that they have gently put claws into LHenderson & the Dangermouse ? if not the Mouse then a keen surfer maybe?

who do you think they will put the bite on?

& those Pyes in the sky. surly Eddie won't let things slip too far before he gets up others noses?

he'll be into Giants & Suns, & no doubt a birds eye view on the Lions below, wanting to keep them down by a decent wingspan. & he hasn't forgotten Lethals bunch, feasting on e'ds pies in the early part of the noorghties.... he'll be out for fresh carrion.

& the good shepherd mnm better watch over his depressed flock as well.

no I haven't read it. and I hadn't seen the papers either.

but I went out for 'a coffee & toasted sanger' late this afternoon, & saw the hun then.

have I missed something else? I don't read about other clubs any more. except when they smack you in the face as you open the page.

I think Dangers will be a cat in 2016. As for the other stuff, I would need a bag of shrooms to get on the same page and accurately decifer those prophecies.

My own prophecies for us: Howe will be expensive to retain and may become a demon rival, and it is a bad year to be out of contract at the dees if you don't make 10 or more senior appearances this season.

My prediction is more AFL related.

Somewhere after the next TV right deal the AFL will reduce the competition to a 16 team comp. 2 Victorian teams will go or 4 will be merged.

The teams to go will be the teams not meeting AFL KPI's 1/ Membership Numbers 2/ Crowd Sizes 3/ TV Ratings.

We will return to a 20 round comp + finals or a 6 month season. The AFLPA will accept this in conjunction with healthy wage rises to compensate for the loss of 2 clubs.

IMO Pies would like :- Aish, Dangermouse, Shiel,

IMO Blues would like :- just as many changes as they can deal, to change out their rotten culture.

I feel Yarran & others may be on a move. maybe we could do a swap with Yarran & Watts.

    Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded.     Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was.
