Like a band-aid - just get it done and forget

6 - T. McDonald - he was huge to begin with and he kept working all game. 8 marks.

5 - J. Viney - 11 tackles. Still under 50 games.

4 - C. Salem - still makes me happy we made the trade

3 - J. Hogan - Swagger in the first half and love he lets the guys know about the delivery.

2 - A. Brayshaw - only Jamar (6) and Vanders (4) had more clearances that he did (3). Let that stat sink in.......

1 - D. Cross - tried all day and still one of our best

It was easier last week when there was more choice...

6 - McDonald - phenomenal game , even when we were being overrun

5 - Viney - fell into some old bad habits , but is totally committed and important

4 - Salem - limited physically, but reads the play beautifully

3 - Dunn - rarely beaten one on one, and still our best kick

2 - Hogan - we can all see it's about to happen but he's still raw

1 - Brayshaw - limited game time but made the most of it

Another tough job this week, but sadly, for a very different reason.

6. Tom McDonald - emerging AA defender based on first two rounds of the season
5. Jack Viney - our best mid by a fair margin today
4. Chris Salem - cool under pressure, even when the avalanche was happening. Will be a beauty.
3. Jesse Hogan - another reason why today was not all gloom and doom.
2. Daniel Cross - old workhorse who worked his backside off
1. Ben Newton - best of the rest

Hey Werridee. Who's leading the votes above? Who did he play on?

That is all.

(Actually, not "all" but I'll be nice-[censored])

What did I say?

If plays like the way you said he would give a AA jumper.

Well you got your answer so what's the problem?

He's clearly the only one in contention because the rest are hopeless.

I wouldn't rave on about leading the votes for Melbourne when you are the only good player.

I think we should have the worst player of the year award. It would be far more interesting and far more easier when you are supporting this club. I mean how can you name 6 good players today, it's just impossible, you simply have to make names up.

My argument still stands when the game turned to shite and we were under siege he should have been taken off the leash, he was the only one who looked like giving us some run out of defence while the players that were suppose to do it in Dunn, Howe and Lumumba gave us donuts. Remember he still had 10 disposals less than he did last week.

Are you serious? Did you only watch the 1st quarter?
