Could potentially expect one of West Coast or Collingwood to decline based on the trends of the past few grand finalists and perhaps Sydney bottoms out. Should still be capable of top 4

ANB out for Viney. Wouldnt be against Viney playing as a small forward next week - ease his way into it as almost a pressure forward. Salem for Hannan. Tough call

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BALIC
Duh replied to ignition.'s topic in Melbourne Demons
I think Dom Tyson is in for a massive year next year ,and the more quality outside players we have the more effective his disposal in tight will become -
Hogans of most value to the team when he is playing up the ground using his running ability to provide an option, as well as being stationed deep forward when he needs a rest. Watts I feel complemented Hogan quite well, with both making each other better players. Interested to see how Hogan and TMAC will combine without Watts there

Isaac Smith would be a nice but similarly ungettable alternative. Blake Acres would be worth a look Gibson as a player would be decent at the dees, his age is his greatest enemy at this stage.

used to hate him, but looks like hes on track for a great career. Good on him!

Tyson was great today, hes having a pretty steady season so far. Garland was woeful today, needs to try and reinvent himself maybe as a forward if he wants to last his 3 year deal

6 - Viney 5 - Watts 4 - Tyson 3 - Gawn 2 - Lumumba 1 - Harmes, every time I saw him at the game today he reminded me of Bernie Vince!

Out: Kent, Garland, Harmes In: Hunt, Dunn, Stretch Try Hunt and stretch out on the wings for some speed. Move Salem into the midfield and put both Jones and Vince predominantly at half back. Vandenberg plays as a forward Dunn takes Garlands position and hopefully actually provides some offense. If ANB backs up his performance from the weekend he's in against the pies, Bugg needs to lift. Ideally you would drop Lumumba but that seems highly unlikely, and Jones but hes been playing OK so far.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CLAYTON OLIVER
Duh replied to Freddy Fuschia's topic in Melbourne Demons
not sure if already mentioned, but oliver actually has a persistent/chronic groin issue and didn't train much his year, as in he just rocked up to games and played. (three of my mates who are getting drafted next year who play against and with him told me this). A bit risky imo -
Not sure if hes a surprise packet but Dom Tyson to win the b&f! Dean Kent and an improved Lumumba are other potential surprise packets
-
Pick 6 will likely be pick 8 so we should be alright
-
I'll really miss Jeremy's hangers and his occasional goal but maybe its best for both parties that he moves on. Hypothetically, Howe and our fourth rounder for Kennedy and their second rounder would be a decent trade (as long as Collingwood don't try and screw us). Then if we're really set on parish or Curnow, 6 and the second rounder for 3 and GC's third (which we on trade for bugg) could get the job done.
