Ok so having just finally got rid of the haven't won a round one game in 10 years tag i thought we should make this year the year to remove all the embarrassing records that are trailing us. If we can do that and push for finals it will go along way to earning back some respect. I'm sure some others will know of more but the few i can think of to start with are

Etihad - We must win here - seriously its time to beat the Saints here surely!

North - We need to knock them over this year

Perth - A win against WC or the Dockers would be handy!

Some of the Melbourne based teams they reckon we havent beaten in years apart from Richmond and Essendon lol

Any others?

The only one I care about is no premiership since 1964. Fix that one and I'll be happy

Most of them are disgustingly embarrassing (ie the decade long round one win drought), so I can't say I don't care about them. The flag is obviously the ultimate one though.

North Melbourne is one I would love to break. Can't stand them, don't rate them, and we are a huge chance of beating them depending on which North Melbourne turn up on the day.

We've got a bad record everywhere and against everyone, because for the last 9 years we've been pathetic. I never saw anything as a hoodoo (ok maybe round 1) but the rest are just a product of us being so bad.

Having said that I'd love to taste victory at Etihad and against North.

Yup, definitely this

and also those West Coast wankers (who are now down their two best KPD's so we should have a big advantage up forward)

Can't stand the Hawks. Would love to see us surprise them, although I think we are 18 months away from beating that mob. They can't keep rolling forever!

Any win against WC or Freo please !!!! Us WA based fans have copped it for way too long

Queen's Birthday

Full House.

It's not our "Grand Final" anymore

It's the Queens Birthday war against the Filth. September is later in the year.

Beating Whorethorn is top of the pile though.

We taught that club how to play tough way back and forgot to do it ourselves

Beating Geelong in Geelong for first time in a long time on Sunday June 21st. Just imagine what it would do for players and supporters given everything that has happened since 186.

That's the one thing that will signal we have moved on from the pain and heartbreak that has surrounded this club for so long.

That will announce to the competition our resurgence. That we are no longer the leagues bunnies.

We are coming [censored], and we are breathing fire and vengeance!

We're not going to roll the Hawks but any one of them, Geelong or Essendon would be a good team to knock over. Mostly because we all know some [censored] head supporter of one of those clubs who lectures us about where we went wrong and then who points out why their club is the template we should be looking at. The truth is Geelong and Hawthorn actually have something backing them up when their fans cite them but it does s*** me when some Essendon numptie tries to tell me how the Bombers are so awesome and where we failed. Trust me, these Essendon fans, without shame if you consider the last two years, do exist. Take it from someone living in Essendon!

Last year beating Adelaide and Carlton was massive..

This year I wanna beat Nth Pies (on QB) and WCE.. The eagles have been beating up on us for years!

So much so I couldn't give two shits that Waters had to retire.. That [censored] got away with murder against us.. Broke sylvias jaw and someone elses.. Never got weeks!

We need an out of the blue year.. And steal a spot in the 8!!

Haven't been to Essendon since 1990

Is it still the same?

Hard to say as I have been here about 6 months. What was it like back in the day WYL?

scary

I live in Aberfeldie (around Buckley Street) and have yet to really venture towards Windy Hill. If I head towards Napier Street for some unforeseen reason, I will let you know. Sad thing is it must be the football team that is turning the locals into nuffies as there are no bloody pubs around here.

We haven't beaten any of Hawthorn, Geelong, Kangaroos and Saints since 2006. Shameful, really.

Would be nice to get at least a couple of those monkeys off our back this season

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
