His vid looks impressive. That left foot looks great. Good break-away speed. I know his bio says this but there really is a lot of Nicky Dal about him.

His name seems to have popped up a bit just in the last day or two. Has anyone seen him play?

I'd love to have him. But is he the third best player in the draft?

Looks like a Kade Simpson in the making, maybe a little more inside ability, but mainly a running left footer (with a decent right as well).

I doubt he gets passed Richmond's first pick, they've been linked to him and some class through the midfield and half back is exactly what they need.

I have a feeling about this kid for some reason.

I think he might be 'the reach that never was' of the this year.

If he's there at 40 and we have the pick, why not?

how many live picks do we have ?

Really only 2 at the moment BB

Actually it's three 2, 3 and 40.

If we take Ben Newton as a DFA it goes back to two.

Thought BN was a fait accompli? Sorry WJ!

Duggan will be one of the best players to come from this draft. It's probably a bit of a stretch to take him at 3, but he will be taken first round. IMO he is one of the best kicks and decision makers in the draft. He looks like the kind of player Hawthorn would draft with their first pick and then in a few years time he is borderline All Australian and everyone is asking how they got him. I think we should still take Brayshaw and McCartin, but IMO Duggan will be a very good AFL player.

Is that with or without upgrading Jetta? My impression is that we'll need 40 to upgrade Jetta.

If we use 40 for Duggan (or anyone), we'll have to use 53 to upgrade Jetta.

And if we pick up Newton as DFA, we'll need to delist another two.

Is that right?

Jetta is already counted.

We have 3 vacancies at the moment.

Newton or ND40 right now until more changes.

I'd take Kade Simpson in the red and blue.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
