we are off the bottom! Brisbane on the bottom now and we are above carlton and Adelaide. How was your 113 point thrashing Beamer? Back on the bottom.

JKH the new Flash?

Kernahan running away from the cameras on 7 news....

Pederson kicking miracle goal

Spencer new gun ruckman

Blues new spoon favourites

I MUST BE ASLEEP!!!

This is what winning is all about Demons.....Not PP's and Draft picks

Hurting the opposition is much more satisfying.

....and Brock Mclean got 30 possessions.....in the seconds. he he.

how good does beer taste after a win? [censored] real good

Congratulations Dees!

For 50 years I was a dees supporter and member until recently going across to Richmond. Part of that reason was a 12 month suspension from this forum for vehemently opposing chasing Mick Malthouse, then Neeld, as coaches.

Anyway, today was a great win for the Dees. Again Congratulations.

I'd like to leave you with these words from a singing artist in 1982 named Toni Basil;

Oh, Mickey, you're so fine
You're so fine you blow my mind
Hey, Mickey
Hey, Mickey

Oh, Mickey, what a pity
You don't understand

It's guys like you, Mickey
Oh, what you do, Mickey, do, Mickey
Don't break my heart, Mickey

First time I've ever got to sing the song at the footy with my 3yo daughter....

A moment I'll never forget. Thank you Dees!

Sorry, but I don't compute

The most pleasing thing is this was an effort based win, very well done lads!

Sorry, as good as the win was, the most pleasing thing was my 8 month old boy twice saying "Go Dee"

Well done Demons! Victory over that mob is the highlight of a most honorable and courageous week for our Club. I see signs that our culture is slowly but surely turning under Paul Roos.

Hell learn, he has guts & will have a big go. the smart stuff will come as he gets more games. tough rucks who'll bash, crash, chase & tackle, is big hearted, arsebusting contesting... the other stuff will come

rucks with no heart & no GO, R no good.

I loved it when yarran thought he could burn Spencer off and the big man stuck out the go go gadget arms and grab his jersey and nailed him like a rag doll.

Was absolutely hilarious and showed what Spencer can do.

Don't try and enjoy the smell of our win. You go back to Punt road and burn some membership cards.

Tom McDonald (one on one contests), Matty Jones (run), Bail (run and hardness), JKH (smarts), Kent (oomph), Dawes, Frawley, Spencer, Georgiou and Pedersen, so many lesser lights stood up today.

Finally got some rewards for effort and the skills will improve so that we can match it with some better teams if we keep at this level.

Loved the effort, intensity and, dare I say it, skill levels after the first quarter. Couldn't make the game but to sit with the two kids and watch a rare win on TV was pure gold.

(was Yarran). But Spencer kicking lace out to Frawley and Spencer taking a pack mark were also nice to see.

Of course my favourite was Spencer punching on with Warnock!

Havent seen one post on Grimes'game. He was excellent and deserves respect today after being cained by many on here the past few weeks.

Yep I was one who was disappointed with him last weak and canned him - I wasnt happy 5 minutes in but after that he was very good today. He chopped off a number of their kicks by getting in front of the player running at the ball.

Thanks for the nothing lyrics. Now get back to the tigers forum.

Spencer's second efforts is what melbourne has been misssIng for so long, his efforts alone will keep him in the team, had some support from pederson but at this stage Jamar and Gawn have to play some good footy to keep him out of the side. We'll done

That's nice. See ya then.

Thought Cross was BOG, never wasted it, has unbelievable hands in close and his awareness in tight is just something so many of our home grown players simply don't have (yet). What an absolute recruiting master stroke it was signing Crossy.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
