We did well, got tired. Grimes should have known 5 min B4 siren. He kicked to a contest & they ended up with a goal. Simple easy posession would have been the way to handle the last 5 minutes of Q2

Boys need to believe in themselves.

Also... Where's Vince and Tyson??

We've won our first half for the season,Woohoo!!!

Gotta start somewhere

Who's on Ellard?

Matt Jones doing alright

We're in this if we believe we can win.

Tyson copping the hard tag.

I hope our other mids are giving him a chop out.

I'm not concerned about the drop in Howe. I really believe he will learn a lot playing down back, and when our forward line is functioning he will go forward again as the third option that Dunn is currently taking. Dunn has been servicable up forward but I think he is better down back.

McKenzie 2 tackles to half time, some players with donuts. Last week Ablett, Selwood, Watson, Libba and Pendles racked up huge numbers plus led the tackle count for their respective teams. Not good enough on our behalf.

JKH gets in good position - May get lucky in the 2nd half

His foot skills are letting him down a bit. But can't question his work rate. The chase down tackle early on when the rest of his teammates were asleep drew applause from me!

Great comments guys. Keep them coming please. No video or radio here. Best 3 games I ever saw were 88 Prelim. 94 final (schwarz game) and 2000 final with Bruce and Green. Hate this mob from here.

Poor kicking and resulting turn overs costing us again. Terlich, Kent, Bail.

Chip trying his guys out. Kicks like a backman, unfortunately ;)

Not sure about letting Petro kick out from behinds

Malthouse and Roos in the box are fascinating contrasts.

One looks cool, one screaming at his assistants.

Maybe Mick needs some meditation training, instead of watching Alpha Centauri all night long.

The Blues whiteboard, & MM's way to goal > %CE%BA%CE%B1%CF%84%CE%AC%CE%BB%CE%BF%CE% blues flying, like cosmmon_orts

3rd quarter = premiership quarter. We must go into the last break in front and with confidence. C'mon dees believe in yourselves and believe in each other.

The blues showed they can get a run on vs Richmond so when that happens we need leaders to stand up. I'm only keeping up with this from afar so I'm going to be doing it tough for the next 70min!

He's not too bad a kick for a spud actually. He's miles better at it then Terlich anyway. I'd have Alistair Nicholson kick out over Terlich.

I think eventually Grimes will be back pocket/small shutdown defender.

I can see others playing from the half back flanks in our future.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
